Sound Test - Can you hear a difference after repair?

I think it might have been more of a difference had I had the work done by my regular repairman, who uses wax on the cork to seal it, and makes a tighter seal.

I do hear the difference. It responses far better

Yeah, I think I was playing differently, overcompensating in the first clip, but the feel of it was totally different...when I listen, I do hear cleaner articulation and a little more presence...I haven't played this flute in years and am a little surprised I'm getting so much sound out of it after spending time on a heavier flute

I think it sings a little bit more but there really isn't a huge difference. What was the repair, a new cork?

Yeah, I was hoping the difference would be as big as when I had my Powell's cork replaced...this flute feels and responds much better, but I guess because I was working overtime in the first clip to play it the best I could maybe there wasn't a lot of difference...I think it does sound a little better articulated perhaps...

The difference is more subtle than I had hoped, but it was easier to articulate and felt a little more clear to me in playing it.

I can just notice the difference in the glasses ... I don't know anything about music but both are still so enjoyable.
