Alot of people givin out about DT and new drummer mike.. Fact is these guys are musical genuises and very smart.. Im sure what ever drummer they would have chosen would have been as good or better than portnoy.. Playin every DT track on drums is one thing but you need to be able to gel with the band.. Mangini is a great drummer and the two cant be compared IMO. Best of luck to mangini in the future with DT :)

Ive loved every dream theater album. With or without portnoy. I don't understand people complaining about how they've lost their edge and stuff. Isn't prog all about doing a little bit of everything? Im my opinion at least. Its all about doing different stuff and changing not putting the same old out album after album. They are awesome and they never get old to me. Sincerely, me. :)

@dreadbet A band always change their sound after certain time on the road, but what I'm trying to say is that DT has lost the essence. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right to me as disappointed fan. I hope you understand me. And if you don't agree, it's ok. We all have different opnions.
