Sabbath used to tune down this song to C# in the early to mid 70's. Later went back to standard tuning live around '76 & '78. I enjoy the authenticity to those early years. May I suggest trying standard tuning on songs like War Pigs, Iron Man, N.I.B., Paranoid, etc. Use two tunings: standard and 1 and 1/2 steps down. It'll give the guitarist an excuse to buy another SG.

Excellent tribute band. Seen them twice at The Royal Oak a few years back and i've got my ticket for 19 June at Clwb Ifor Bach. Bring it on.
