first of all.. i am 150 lbs and fly a 7.5m depower which generally kicks my ass! this twig is flying a 26m??? does he want to be the next "balloon boy"???? see you in africa kid.
@boardhardcore Well, the general idea is to NOT by flying. These aren't parachutes by design!
We check the winds every day before heading out. He has smaller kites for strong or gusty winds. This was just inexperience combined with the desire to try something it clearly wasn't ready for.
it would have been a lot better if he would have fallen on the bigmouth chick and broken some of her teeth so she cant talk anymore--how annoying.....
I should say it's rather an odd accident. Could you possibly describe? The guy you call "idiot" is doing not so bad with the bar, the problem is a wind or the kite it goes behind and goes terribly fast - it should not have happen.
At the moment the player goes down he pulled on the bar + half power at once, and the kite continues overgo (possibly wind stopped and it's falling not flying) or this kite is preset incorrectly -to be behind (that should not be with FS, btw check the lines).
@OopsAiee The reason I call him an idiot is because he was trying to do jumps and what have you with a brand new kite on his first day. The issue is that this model is a LOT more powerful then what he normally uses. He admits it was kind of dumb to do.
Thankfully he has sense learned from the experience, and now tends to only have issues gargling water and no eating dirt.
ffs... The kite's area is 26 square meters... not the height of the jump...
The flyer was indeed myself, and while I am certainly not proud of this clip, I acted as responsible as possible. Please notice that the field was exceptionally large, flat and clear of all obstacles including bystanders. The only one in jeopardy of getting hurt was myself.
Finally, while this is no excuse, it was my first day out in the field with this kite. Trim, brake and wing tip characteristics were not yet set.
you have no future in kiting. Not a good one anyway. I see two stupid(acting)kids with a kite they have NO business being on. are your parents drunk and passed out or just clueless to what you are doing?
And to respond, the user in the video is actually fairly active at defending local access rights. If you look, we were in a field that day that extended about 1000+ feet in every direction, and we were the only people out there. His first flight wasn't done around anything he could damage, or people he could hurt.
The person in the video broke two teeth doing this, but no bones. He plans to one-up this later this week. I'll post any other stupid stunts he does ^^
let me guess...mommy and daddy are paying for the kite AND the denist bills. You are telling us he still HAS access to that kite??? unbelievable. I guess parents not being parents makes kids like this.
Nope! The flyer pays for the kites totally out of cash. He may be an idiot, but he knows how to work hard. Oh, and he is KINDA in college. This tends to help with independence.
HAHA, you not fucking listening!

Felling of the wind comes with time only - use body-protection until or chest-deep water.
Sorry for the accident

I can only assume your trying to yell at me for doing that. Sorry, it really wasn't me. I just posted it.
As for being in college? Yeah, he is. You really don't have much proof against that one.
And learn what a "^" means. You'll get to know it well when you get into high-school mathematics.

@LyricalMedia.
SJeezes. Are you retarded?
Sure he is not jumping 26m high.
26m² is the surface of the kite.
Think twice before posting comments like this...
