    Kundenrezensionen:

  • ''Simply Point and shoot'' Thats What She Said.....

  • PITY THEY DON'T TEACH HER HOW TO HOLD A CAMERA!!!

  • I undersand that "mother" look like ass but you can shot photo of her in nicer way ;/

  • i have this camera can it take video?

  • "support the lens with your left hand if necessary"

what the fuck? its always necessary. very amature video

  • 11 seconds with the boy cap off, that should allow plenty of dust to get in !!!

  • i can't turn on the flash. it's on auto. the info keeps telling me that the flash wont work because of the setting, what should i do?

  • NICKON? I always pronounced it NYKON

  • @madx80h No mate, Its Nickon. Its spelt NIKON and noway does NIKON sound like NYKON

  • FREE** Download any Camera Manual. Old, New and Ancient. -

  • D40 is rubbish. processing speed is awfully slow.

  • @Xyb3rTeCh its 4 beginners

  • @MacChris4691 canon 1000D process faster than the d40. sony alpha 230 also process much better than nikon.

  • @Xyb3rTeCh D40 is no longer in produce. 1000D and 230 are newer cameras. Compare theme to D3000 or D5000

  • This vid learns, that you should never use auto)))) or else you'll get bullshit!)) Those pics look like from a 100 bucks P&S!No,seriously!))))

  • I agree, they try to glamorize the auto feature when in reality, it sucks. The real quality comes from understanding the aperture and the other modes of the camera. Learn how to adjust the aperture and lens for each situation and knowing the mode to be in for the style you want, can make or break the photo. Ive taken pictures with my D40 that look 10x better, and look like they could be on a freaking Billboard advertisement. D40 is great when you know how to use it.

  • The only good photo was chicken @ 3:58

  • ok i really suggest a nikon coolpix or any point and shoot for family!!!! this camera is good for action shots and more professional shooting

  • I just un-learned about everything I knew about DSLRs.

  • wow...I own this camara, and the pictures taken here and shown are HOOORRRIBLLEEE please dont let this fool you pictures are waaay much better looking!

  • Tru dat!!!

  • @ImTheWiseOne maybe its just a european thing...hahha

  • i got my d40x with lens for $400 :/

  • where?

  • weak review and weak pictures, I must say

  • this doesn't teach anything cool, does anyone know where I can get some tutorials on how to get certain types of pictures??

  • Check out Dom Bower's You Tube channel... he has several helpful videos.

  • oh wow yeah thats a huge difference i think im gonna get a Sony Alpha 350 though its inbetween the two price ranges.

  • Comment removed

  • does the D40X cost alot more than the D40?

  • yes, the d40 cost 250-350$!

and the d40x is between 950-1200$!

  • Where the fuck are you buying your shit?

  • whats the difference between the D40 and D40X?

  • D40X is 10 megapixels and starts from iso 100, D40 has got a 6megapixels sensor, and iso starts from 200. that's the main difference from the two models...

  • @W333ST I own both a Nikon D40 & a Nikon D40X The Nikon D40X sits at the back of my cupboard collectiong dust & the D40 is my main camera.. That is the main difference between these two model.... You can blow up a 6megapixel picture to A3 size and it does not pixalate. My D40 is an AWESOME little camera. This video sucks..Take the camera OUT OF AUTO mode and use apature & shutter speed settings, To get great pictures.

  • @matsui2001 i agree matsui my d40 works great to auto works decent but its always best to use one of the shutter, aperature, or manual modes.

  • @GMSamuelRhine Thanks. If the object I am going to take a picture of is not going anywhere like a building etc I try to use Manual mode... You can get a much better picture. If I need to take a picture of some "random shit" that is only going to be there for like a second I will quickly throw the camera into AUTO.

  • @matsui2001 same here i use manaul when i shoot scenes at the beach. but i do whip it into auto myself if speedboats go by.

  • ooh a fiat 500 my dad has one of those

  • I wish there could be a tutorial of the nikon D40 X online...

  • it also has auto focus so if you dont know how just put it on auto

  • i dont want it to autofocus. if i set it to full manual will that let me focus it on my own?

  • yea it will let you manual focus, but idk about film lenses. But yea it will manual focus with any nikon AF lense and autofocus with any

    AF-S lense

  • so basically that means: yes the D40 will let you manually focus?

  • yep

  • alright thanks mate. i heard though the SLRs are meant to operate in manual and if you know how you can get better shots that way is that true?

  • yea manual is much better for taking pictures, but usually when you have a moving object like a soccer player you usually have your camera in auto focus mode because how fast they are moving you could never keep them in focus, and if you need to take a good quick picture. But yea manual is much better and you can do so much more stuff in manual mode and manual focus

  • ok coll thanks. so if you want to take a fast pic does that mean the camera can autofocus fast?

  • what do you mean, no the AF(autofoucus) time you cant change how fast it works. But usually if I want to take continues pics with my D40 i put on manual focus because the AF slows it down, yea if you want to take a quick picture just swith it to Af so you dont have to take the tome to do it your self and get it right I think thats what you meant

  • @geedunk13 yup pretty much

  • yeah

  • aaaww man i cant wait to get mine man....im gnna look at this video it is really helpful...thanks

  • In normal portraits ok. When sb stand and not move for at lest 2 seconds. But forget to focus on moving pepole, animals and other situation. Still i want that old nikor 135/2.8 with MF :)

  • i bought the 55-200 mm cuz i thought it was gonna help at night but my pics stll come out blury...any help

  • buy the 55-200mm VR lens

  • tHE BACKGROUND MUSIC REMINDS ME OF 2G1C. UGHGUHGGH.

  • Please if you got money buy something with af motor. Ive got D60 its great but without afmotor its usless on old lenses

  • u dont know how to manual focus?

the camera is not useless.. its you..

  • yeah hes an amateur. i normally use a film slr though. does the d40 let you manual focus if you set it to manual mode?

  • yeah why wouldn't it?

  • Great video. Delivered as promised. He show a video where you can shoot with little effort. he never promised anything else. Of course camera can make better shots.

  • The Nikon D40 truly can do so much more than what is shown here but remember this video said in the begining it would show you how to take pictures with minimal effort. I use a Nikon D40 for all my pictures and love my camera. Anyone who wants this camera to live up the Nikon name has to use it's manual settings on the dial (M,S,A,and P)

  • I've just started to take photos with my Nikon D40, and since it's new years soon, i was thinking of taking pictures of the fireworks, but i have to change the shutter speed, and as i said I'm kind of new with it..so i thought maybe you could tell me how? :) Please?

  • First thing you HAVE to use is a Tripod (Or something else to steady your camera to rule out any chance of camera shake resulting in a blurry picture). Turn your camera out shutter priority mode and use a slow shutter speed by turn the thumb dial on the back of the D40.I'd start with maybe a 2 second shutter speed or so and take it from there. It's really a situation of trial and error - see what shutter speed works best for the results you need.

  • Thank You!! :)

  • she wants to capture her parents

  • I laughed when the man said "make sure no dust gets into the camera", and she removes the dust cap before getting the lens ready first, and takes another 15 seconds to fit it :| Haha, omg

  • yawnnnnnnnnnn

  • i got the nikon d40x shld i put up a review

  • I want Those Pizzaasssss :(( :((

  • I guess the video is OK but someone that is not familiar with photography might be discouraged from getting this camera when seeing the really bad pictures that were shown. This camera is capable of being used for making wonderful pictures, but this video fails to show that.

  • I want this camera

  • all these pictures that woman took made me laugh sooo hardddd

  • Because it got 10 Million Pixel insted "just" 6 Million.

  • The photography in this video is horrendous! The compositions are terrible and the lighting is aweful! The introduction is slow and boring. If you don't know how to even hold a camera you should not be using one.

Two thumbs down by Jimena Saravia

  • Too bad they're demoing it as a point-and-shoot instead of exploring its capabilities.

  • Because it shoots 3 frames per second while the d40 shoots 2.5, and the d40x shoots 10 megapixels while the d40 shoots 6. but i agree big whoop. It shouldnt be so much more
