I live in Vegas now but I miss the NJ pizza places, I first went to the Star pizzeria back in the 60's , Star is really good but so was Toast of the Town on Scotland road , North Newark had a few good ones but my all time favorite is Marios on Van Houten ave in Clifton, the Barriolli family have run it for about 50 years , Marios is Excellent and the Garlic bread is second to none. Everyone that I know that has been there loves it. The only time I went the pizza was just OK. There was an oil slick floating on top of the cheese. Oh well, maybe they just had a bad day. Best pizza I have had in NJ is Mario's on Van Houten Avenue in Clifton. Next best is Resevoir Tavern in Parsippany.
