  • I like coming across ignorant youtubers who say rap is about violence, slapping hoes and calling this crap music. Then I RESPOND with videos like this, back to them and tell them to shut the fuck up lol.

  • Mike Kenji Shinoda <3

  • @TheSuperyall The two don't compare. I'm not going to say if the nuking was necessary or not, but those two bombings were nowhere NEAR the same level.

  • anyone know what movie these clips are from?

  • I know what it's like to be locked when your innocent and everyone is lookin at you like your a criminal or something

  • Currently learning about world war 2 in my World History class. Got my teacher to play this song for us and he loved it. :D

  • Why are people always arguing about anything?

  • is this the real video

  • Man I love this song its so damn deep... Just love it

  • This is such a deep song

  • Which movie is that Pearl Harbor and the other one ?????

  • whatever you guys are arguing about, this song is about japanese AMERICANS, who were mistreated by they're own country. these people had nothing to do with the imperial japan.

  • Comment removed

  • The Japanese shouldn't bitch about Hiroshima or Nagasaki. The way how they invaded China at its Weakest, force their culture onto the Koreans... Pft what shame, the first Asian Power who became a Liberator and then a tyrant like all Western Conquerors... Sun Yat Sen once said Japan could choose to be the Liberator of Asia or the Iron Fist... Japan choose the second and suffer. Fucking Japanese Militaristic scums.

  • @JBXyooj the simple fact is that we attacked their citizens, not their military, if you wanna get technical it was the worlds largest act of terrorism

  • @Lajinn6 So let me get this straight, while you ignore Naking, the Force culture on Korea, the Comfort Women, the Subjugation of Asia, The Biological unit, and the Mistreatment of Allie Prisoner. So you can talk about how wrongfully America was to bomb Nagasaki and Hiroshima? That this attack was greeeaaaater then the action committed by the Japanese military?

    Yeah ok

  • Everybody "usually" thinks different of other people like Ex.Nazi...Some people might hate Germans because of Nazi's BUT why?Well

Nazi's did pretty bad stuff and well some people think that they're all alike.

Well I'm not a smart guy so if u disagree go ahead.

  • this is the lowest amount of dislikes ive ever seen

  • I call forth the shit storm!!!

  • @RickSayo2 Dude, do you know how to read? if you read what he said correctly you'll realized he was refering the problems between Japan and America, not Japan and the countries in Asia.

  • Goosebumps. Every time.

  • wait he came from japan in 1905 he was 15,,, about 37 years later.. the war broke out and he joined the army... that doesnt make any sense... so at 52 years old he joined the army? or the lyrics was talking about someone else...

  • @plonkies The war broke out and they were sent to internment camps. Some people signed up to fight in the war for the US.

  • @andagii im talking about this kenji guy...

  • @plonkies Kenji was not a soldier.

  • you guys should read farewell to manzanar

  • This song, sooo awesome...

  • At least America and Canada just took possesions and they werent killed for no reason, the americans that were taken by the japs were treated so harshly, beaten, women raped, punished for no reason, no medicine, at least america just put the all in one spot and treated them as people, just taking precautions in a very serious time of war, I'd rather have a group of people treated unfairly than have the Nazi win the war. and it was so close, Hitler was so close to winning.

  • @MikeHDcod Well I can understand your point if America acted out of necessity. They stated that the internment camps were made out of "military necessity" but this is lie. If it was really America taking "precautions" then why would didn't they put the Japanese in Hawaii in internment camps? Hawaii, where Pearl Harbor was attacked. It was mostly Japanese Americans who were incarcerated, not Italians or Germans. It was racially motivated in a country where everyone is "equal".

  • @TheCindermuffin no what I'm saying is that the axis were sooooooooooooooooooo close to winning the war, maybe one japanese put in an interment camp was a spy that maybe woulda had vital information and the axis won. I'd rather ruin the lives of a bunch of innocent people than risk the axis winning, stop and think of a world where hitler won. Obviously this is awful for those innocent which was prob over 98% but the possible consequence is way to dire to risk

  • @MikeHDcod LOL, you're telling me that it's okay to racially profile and intern people, much like Hitler, because of paranoia and hysteria? And I'm just saying, they didn't intern all Japanese. They didn't incarcerate the Japanese in Hawaii, which is where Pearl Harbor was attacked. Obviously we didn't do it to look for spies or else we would have imprisoned them all. I'm not going to argue anymore though, you don't understand much.

  • @TheCindermuffin dude, you don't know anything about the internment camps do you, they were treated like people, they put them all together to keep and eye on them, 6 years of there lives they had to put up with bullshit through no fault of there own. Hitler didn't intern people, hitler murdered, raped, and treated people like rats, in fact he called the jews rats the japanese burned, raped, put stakes through people, cut of heads, all for sport. we treated them like people only to ensure saftey

  • @TheCindermuffin please before commenting again learn history, just cause ur 4th grade teacher told you somehting doesn't make it true

  • @MikeHDcod Mike, I'm not saying internment camps were worse. But from what I gather from your poorly educated comments, two wrongs make a right? Because they put people in concentration camps makes it okay for us to put Japanese Americans in internment camps. You're clearly a troll or a kid because you clearly can't grasp what I'm saying. Before commenting against learn history, just because something happened in Call of Duty, it's not true. Go read a book.

  • @TheCindermuffin you have no clue wtf your talking about the japs at hawaii were interned, THERE NOT BEING INTERNED BASED ON RACE AND ANCESTRY, THEY WERE INTERNED BASED ON BEING AT WAR WITH THEIR HOME COUNTRY, this has nothing to do with race is protected a FUCKING COUNTRY FROM BECOMING FUCKING CONTROLLED BY AXIS POWERS YOU IGNORANT 12 YEAR OLD FUCK

  • @MikeHDcod By the way, I NEVER mentioned anything about Nazis or Hitler or how the Japanese army treated Americans. I stated that ruining someone's life, family, career, etc because of their race and ancestry is wrong.

  • @TheCindermuffin There was an internment camp in Hawaii, it's called or was in the area of Honouliuli. The reason why not all Japanese in Hawaii were interned was because there were too many people in the work force that were Japanese and taking all would make Hawaii's economy fall. My great-grandfather, although Okinawan, was also sent to an internment camp on the mainland (and he lived here in Hawaii). But I do agree, it was racially motivated.

  • @MikeHDcod Although this is not related to what you said, Executive Order 9066 did not imply that only Japanese were to be sent to internment camps and despite the allies fighting against the Axis Power, it was mainly Japanese who were sent to internment camps and although it is true and I am so grateful that it was not as bad as what Hitler did to the Jewish people, the way the Japanese were treated was definitely not humane.

  • Continue: The U.S. internment camps were overcrowded and provided poor living conditions. Japanese Americans were housed in "tarpaper-covered barracks of simple frame construction without plumbing or cooking facilities of any kind." Internees slept under as many blankets as they were alloted. Food was rationed out at an expense of 48 cents per internee, and served by fellow internees in a mess hall of 250-300 people.

  • I finally found this song!I so like this song and i cant remember where i heard it

  • 360p we meet you again...

  • it feels good to hear music that has a strong, powerful message that goes straight inside your heart. Fort Minor 4ever :)

  • wow this is awful.

  • The first time I heard this song, I was shocked by the powerful message that Mike decided to sing about! Peace to Font Minor, Linkin Park, and all those who care :)

  • fuck school, i'm watching this music vid..

  • ไมค์จ๋า จู๊บบบบบบบบบบบบ

  • love it:D

  • amazing.

  • The reason I love the Japanese is they don't have hate in their hearts - they are a beautiful people - the massacre of Hiroshima - all the innocent non-combatants who died - and yet nearly all Japanese have no problem with America - even fighting for our military.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer

What you are doing is generalizing. Though it would be nice to have everyone loving everything, I'm sure that there are some who hate Americans :(

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer massacre at Hiroshima? that happened because the Japanese attacked us at our heart. even if people were innocent, its only fair that if our innocent people had to suffer so should theirs.

  • @ninjaderp1 America's heart? America's heart lies on the mainland, Hawaii was it's own nation. The culture, the language, the life of Hawaiians were oppressed and much of Hawaiian culture is possibly-probably not alive. Land was taken away, life has changed. MANY Hawaiians died (both mentally-emotionally and literally) when foreigners (including Americans) came to Hawaii.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer I'm Japanese and I disagree. During that time period, the Japanese were merciless. Ever heard of Rape of Nanking? Or even what the Japanese did in the Philippines or Korea? Japanese are a mix of people, hatred, love, polite, rude and this is like any other person, ethnic "barriers", gone. People in general are like that, a mix of things. And they had to, listen to the song.

  • @andagii This. I'm sure you are a wonderful person

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer lol, learn history please, or google the rape of nanking, don't have hate in their heart.... beautiful people.......... people are people, there are bad and good in every race and at the time in WW2 the belief that they were better than others made most japanese bad at that time, please google the rape of nanking, japanese internment camps don't compare to what they did to POW and civilians in WW2 learn history than speak k :)

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer I think all people are equal, all people have the ability to be good or evil. I hate talking about civilizations because we have all been evil in the past including Japan, they raped and fucked China and tried to take over asia, they have been ruthless and yet Americans have destroyed the Indians in the past, the Portuguese have slaughtered the Africans, every country that has had the power to be evil has been evil unforntunately revenge is so strong

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer LOLOLOL!!! thats what u think! during world war 2, japan ruled china, phillipines, Indonesia, korea, and more asian countries. japan treated those countries and the people in it like trash and garbage! just look it up for more info

  • @RickSayo2 yeah im japanese and i agree with u. japanese ppl were really foolish to agree an aliance with germany. but im kinda glad they did cause if they didnt someof us wouldnt be where we r tday

  • @RickSayo2 dont blame all of us just because the people in charge of japan at that time did those thing not every one liked it

  • @RickSayo2 you cant judge a people by their government.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer thank you

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer Um... ever hear of The Rape of China? Face it, every country has bad people and good people. It's not based on the country you live in, (unless the country consists of, like, one person), there are bad people in the world.

  • @inferno33222 That was not what I was saying, I was saying they don't have any hatred for America even after the war and hiroshima, and other people such as the French and English still have negative thoughts toward each other because of war from the past over a hundred years ago. 'They don't have hate in their hearts' is clearly what I said.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer Oh I see what you mean. I think it's because after we destroyed them we helped to rebuild them. It's the reason whe are friends with the Germans too, if I'm not mistaken.

  • @inferno33222 Good point, but America's effect on Germany was not close to that of what they did to japan in WW2, and the Germans feel negative still towards Russia who were very harsh in their attack on Germany, raping everyone, stealing everything, mainly out of revenge though. But you may be right, I was just putting a point forward anyway.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer Yeah I know, it's sad what we did to the Japanese; with the fire bombing we destroyed around 98% of Tokyo I think. But it's also sad what the Japanese did to the U.S. and China. You should read Flyboys if you are interested in this stuff, cause it's a good book and I learned a lot. It is kind of graphic though. But seriously, sometimes we humans fight over the stupidest things.

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer You really didn't study WWII that much did you? The Japanese were ruthless against all combatants. No Country is with out evil.

  • @myevilprophecy Thats not what I said -.-

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer fuck you dude, war is war, because japan decided to bitch and cry they came out with the "rules of war" which is bullshit, they just got pissed cuz we had higher teck ways of finishin the war and they didn't like it. war is war. fuck the opposing country. war is war son. wake up

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer Naah, maybe the citizens, i guess, but not those in army. They hated US, mainly because of brainwashing from their officers, this same shit happened in every army, so i disagree with you in this. And that nuke was, sadly, needed. I am really anti american person, because of they today imperialism, however the nuke has my full support. Just imagine the slaughter for US soldiers that tries to invade Japan mainland. Fffuuu..

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer

I like to think that everybody is the same regardless of the country they live in and that the people who do horrible things to others exist because of their upbringing or various things that happened in their lives. Generalization of any large group of people is always false, even if it's something positive such as your comment. If you believe all Japanese are somehow unhateful, read about the Rape of Nanking & other fucked up Japanese warcrimes.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheAnimatorEqualizer

Everyone is capable of hate. Check wikipedia on japanese war crimes. There are many examples of Japanese with hate in their hearts, I am not trying to apply a blanket statement. Its just every society has people who hate, sometimes this can be overcome by us loving them, but sometimes it takes brute force.

  • LP & FM rules, mike is a god

  • We were no better than what we were fighting in Germany.

  • This is so sad, and still the case today only with Arabs. Its not fair at all. I was babysitting a muslim family and I asked the little girl (NINE years old ok?) "what are you doing for christmas?" Then I quickly corrected myself and I was like "oh sorry sweetie I forgot you are muslim" and this little nine year old girl was like "yes but I am not a terrorist" It was so sad.

  • @slideshowgurl That sucks. I hate all of those ignorant assholes who hate people based on the acts of the few. It's the same reason (one of them, at least) that the terrorists hate America; they hate that all those American oil companies having a large presence in their holy land, and they take it out on everybody. There are multiple other reasons that the terrorists are doing what they are doing though, and I won't claim to know all of them. Why can't we all just get along!?!

  • Soooo touching!

  • i love this song but i definitely think listening to it is better when you just picture it in your head, this video really doesn't do it justice, no offense to the creator of it but its just a bunch of clips of japanese people from movies that dont even fit the song that well.

  • i love this song its a history book in a song:)

  • His first mistake was living in L.A.

  • @nitefireoo NOTHING ELSE LIKE L.A!!

  • 36 people are worthless fucks

  • i cried.

  • This is an ugly time for america, it reminds me of today when people see all arabs as terrorists.

  • @lockandload247 Dont forget all the people from india, pakistan, bangladesh... the list goes on.

  • @Arsenal5688 It's horribly sad

  • @lockandload247 Better to see them all as terrorist and survive than to see them all as innocent and die. Talking for the soldires down there who get punished if they kill a civilian. Its just bullshit.

  • Listened to this in English today. My teachers got good taste lol

  • This video should've have alot more views! This kind of music is so much better than this new shitty rap!

  • this is incredible most real life song ive ever heard

  • awesome , i love fort minor!!!!!!!

  • this is more than a music video... is it available in HD ?

  • mike shinoda 4 ever in top!!

  • how can this have 36 dislikes???????????????

  • @aprilsam37 cuz there idots or they dont like the video

  • @smkat420 obviously. :/

  • Man...so powerful....

  • After you watch some clips from world war 2, and listen to this song.. sure have some feelings towards this song and lyrics

  • dud so freakin osom!! nice vid bro

  • Good song!!!:) I think i saw the atomic bomb blowing up in a show that was on history channel

  • Mike Shinoda is the only raper i find worth listening to, just because his songs comes from his heart, and it is always easy to relate to them. Thats what makes them so freaking good

  • Im not from Japan :(

  • @paulnathanielsmith

    Doesn't matter

  • this song is amazeing and touching

  • what movie is this

  • HIP HOP HEADZ...CHECK THIS OUT,,,

    /watch?v=AKb8cA7uk9A

  • too sad fort minor don't do other albums :/

  • when that bassline kicks in...hits you in the soul

  • Originality ... He got em

  • Language is so important, camp? I know camp; camp involves fishing, hiking, making musical instruments out of boxes and string, and coming home with arts and crafts. This was prison. Thank you Fort Minor for shining a light on executive order 9066.

  • It has style. More style than all the rappers with bitches, money and drugs.

  • mike shinoda is also in Linkin Park

  • My grandparents had to go to internment camps. I can really relate to this song.

  • Well done video my friend. I had family in the camps and in the 100/442 and MIS. thanks for making this. Props to Mike shinoda as well.

  • Its so sad that this happened to so many innocent people. Great beat though. I heard this song in school because the whole class had to for a lesson on World War 2.

  • GO mike!!

  • Mike Shinoda is brilliant.

    100% FACT!!!

  • My homework was to view this video

  • @deadmachine95xx Srsly?!

  • @deadmachine95xx best. homework. ever

  • @deadmachine95xx haha, lucky

  • @deadmachine95xx

You passed it, i hope a lot of time.:)

  • @deadmachine95xx

and i watch this video instead of doing my homework

  • if you want to repeat this song automatically please put "repeat" after youtube and before (dot) come

  • The saddest part of this is that we did this again after 9/11. we demonized Muslims so that they were constantly watched and scrutinized. We made them feel like prisoners in their own home country. The only difference is we didnt use camps this time.

  • @rock4life761592 Unfortunately, we have. Guantanamo Bay is the major one. But also look up the "Communications Management Unit" in Marion, Illinois. It's just a fancy bullshit term for modern-day internment camp...it's disgusting.

  • What movie is this in the music video? I really want to watch it.

  • This would make a great movie and game

  • what movie is it from?

  • @MissCurlyKat pearl harbor and im not sure if a difrent movie was used

  • One of my all time favorite songs!

  • this song gives me chills. Nice to know some artists are putting their success towards education, instead of sex, drugs, and violence.

  • Stupid idiots who dislike this.

  • when i am listening to mikes rhymes and raps... it is so easy to "picture the story"! he needs no melody, his voice is music to my ears. and his lyrics are so fucking intelligent and he sings with his whole heart. incredible! thumbs up for him!

  • I miss the old Linkin Park...

  • I don't know:

-how anyone can dislike this song.

-how some videos can have more views and likes than this.

-how one man can be so genius like million others.

    FM / LP ftw!

    Stuipid world.

  • @Toxinia this isnt even linkin park noob

  • @TjurenProductions

    No shit shirlock.

It just reminded me of the old Linkin Park.

  • @Toxinia well it isnt even the old linkin park

  • poor kenji....

  • i love fort minor songs! He doesnt rap about money and bxtches! :p

  • @tcrawford2015 "I'm running out to get the next rappers CD,

Just sucking up the guns, drugs and misogyny" - Cigarettes

  • @tcrawford2015: Yea he's really underrated. I mean he's no Eminem, but his music is a hell of a lot better than any of the new shit coming out today.

  • @tcrawford2015 Correction, they, they don't rap about money and bxtches!

  • @tcrawford2015 its they its mike shinoda riu and machine shop

he raps about nothing they rap real

  • @tcrawford2015 that's because he is a rockstar

  • The war was fuck up!

  • It makes me sad, that the guys today listen to songs like 'on the floor' or something like that. The songs today, don't handle about the war. often about partys, Drugs, guns, sex and girls. Thats so stupid. Songs like this one, should be more famous, cause they are true. they are about the reality.

  • @MsPeacegirl13 so ur saying we should listen to songs about horrible things, for fun?

that we shouuld feel like shit every time music starts playing, instead of listening to music to feel better?

  • @ian753357 i did never say, that we should feel bad. I just think, that songs like this, could change the world, cause they show, how bad ppl out there feel. They show the reality and songs like 'on the floor' are just about the party. And My friend just died because of a party. because on that night she took drugs. And this songs just show the good things about party. But you can get drunk and maybe die because of it. Cause the guys 2day think, partys allways good.

  • @MsPeacegirl13 your comment is exactly what went on in my mind! sorry for you and your friend honey...

  • @LuzieBolla I'm glad to hear the :3 hmm... i miss her, but i have to life... songs like that help me...

  • @MsPeacegirl13 you are soo right about that thats why i only listen to eminem and Mike Shinoda because they mostly write songs about things that have happened to them or people they know or even just what people are like in the world these days and it isnt nice what people are like its horrible and it needs to be stopped

  • เจ๋งๆ

  • THE SONG SAYS THAT THE COLOUR OF THE SKIN DOESNT MATTER!!!

    WHITE

    YELLOW

    BROWN

    BLACK

IT DOESNT MATTER...LOOK AT THE PANDA ITS BLACK AND WHITE AND ASIAN IN THE SAME TIME!!!! WHY CANT WE BE LIKE THEM??

  • @Troll0ni lol? Tell me what do you think about Macaws?

  • I love this song and how it tells the story of the artists father(?) through song.

  • WWII memeries!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!! Just hearing this song a glimpse of world war 2 flahes on my mind. Great song Fort MInor!!!!!!!!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • Comment removed

  • This song is really great

    but is this true?

    Thanks?

  • @Rom270 yes this is true this realy did happen to jappanese durring ww2 we detained most of our jappanese population in the usa because of the fear of spies and bombs on american soil and a lot of people died in these camps true they were nothing compaired to hitlers concentration camps but it was still wrong and should never have happened

  • @madfighter108 i agree that it was terrible, but, we didnt have a choice

  • @Rom270 Sadly:/

  • there wer goosebumps on my body while listenin to songs

  • LOL this is directed to people who four-six months ago (and probably dont care anymore) blamed Obama for the war American is in. Are you guys serious? In 2001, after 9/11, what president put us to war? Bush did. Dont blame Obama for the war Bush started. Obama is picking this country up after the mess the Bush left behind. Just because you guys might not like him, he's still our president, and you should respect him like how you respected Bush.

Powerful song, by the way. <3

  • @xxdarkmusicloverxx obama aint anny better then bush and you really think he makes the decision no he dont your just being fooled by your own goverment by using the media

  • @belgiumlife LOL I never said that Obama is better that Bush. Obviously the president doesnt make all the decisions, if he did then there wouldnt be a need for congress. But the president has the power to veto things he doesnt agree with. I personally think that our government is corrupt and utter crap. But hey, at least we live in a democracy. I'm not being fooled by anything, and you wont be able to prove anything to me if you dont know the meaning of capatilization and punctuation, 'kay bro?

  • <3

  • What does the duck song have to do with Fort Minor?

  • sad

  • 35 have no family.

  • FORT MINOR ROXS!!!!!
