This may not be suitable as something you play on your ipod before going to sleep or listen to, on your way to work, but in the club environment this was intended for, it sounds amazing! @moleman198 I don't know what you're listening on but the kick drum is in no way, shape or form "drowned out". Maybe you're referring to the fact that there's no "pop" on this kick, like there is on many other songs. It just takes up more of a lower part of the EQ.

Yes it takes up more of the lower part of the EQ but the snares do as well so there is some difficulty in differentiating the kick from the snare. I thought what you meant by a 'solid' kick was one with plenty of punch i.e. you can effortlessly find the kick among all the other instruments. I dunno man, it doesn't seem as crisp and clear as in Laidback Luke's other tracks

@moleman198 First of all, snares are definitely not lower frequency EQ. In fact, they are right up there with claps and hi-hats. The only thing that occupies a higher frequency range than the snares is the white noise on buildups. Maybe you're talking about the toms but they're still higher up in the mix than the kick. As well as that, you can definitely differentiate because the kick is in mono and is centered. As for crisp, try downloading it in 320kbps? After all, YouTube does compress it..
