It is mainly a fight about union rights. The Postal Service is the biggest union in the country. Certain powerful individuals would love to get rid of this union. Oh, and Wall Street would love to get their hands on the pension funds.

Senator Sanders is awesome ! The USPS sacrifices revenue and efficiency by giving a free handouts to businesses and others in the form advertising flyers, no postage necessary mailings for so called "non profit organizations" when such organizations have fat cat CEOs earning sometimes millions in salaries. I'm tired of having a mailbox full of advertisements from people that don't even pay to mail it. End the breaks for these people and help the USPS.

Here's the deal: Shrub and congress passed the bill that requires the Postal Service to fund their pensions 75 years into the future. This was one of the repuglican attempts to destroy the Middle Class, and specifically Unions. They don't the People to have any power, but will bust their asses to kiss corporate ass at every opportunity.

@TheVideoRepo I really wouldnt say Sanders supports Israeli aggression. He has spoken out against many Israeli actions against Palestinian civilians and supports a 2 state solution. I wish he was aggressive in condemning Israel's actions, but the Israeli lobby in the U.S. is so powerful it is hard to do so.

Actually many corporations have underfunded their pension and healthcare funds, that was a huge problem with GM, and why they owed so much money to their workers.

@concussedcarneous Although Ron Paul actually stands for real change, both of them are from different worlds since Paul is a libertarian and Sanders is a progressive. There are definitely some of Paul's positions that Sanders supports.
