If god is all knowing, and all mighty, and has powers beyond anything we can understand, then why doesn't he end abortion himself? Some of you people need to THINK before you speak, or type. I mean no disrespect, but sir, anyone, including jesus/god can say that the "death will be destroyed"; however, no one have yet to witness the destruction of death. We, human beings are bound to die some day, no one can avoid it; unless one is not human.

If, for exmaple, your sister, wife or daughter was raped and became pregnant, isn't it their choice to whether or not keep the fetus? We are men, we do not know the pain and suffering raped women go through especially when they're pregnant.

@mythicalhell Sure he could. Now abortion is plainly the dismemberment of a child. So the question becomes the same in refernce to dismemberment of adults or any other kind of violence. It's not ultimately an issue of God's power, but of whether or not he gives us freedom to do evil. And beyond that, if he gives us freedom, it's a question of whether he also gives us grace to guide that freedom. And then it's a question of whether grace can be obtained through prayer. Lots of important issues!

Your god is not ALL loving as he is playing a game in that he let's a life be destroyed as a result of giving us free will, HOWEVER theist "CLAIM" that when people die(especially homosexuals)due to hurricanes or earthquakes, it's god intervening, punishing mankind for their sins! If this god won't punish abortion doctors due to free will but he will punish homosexuals due to being deviant he's contradicting himself!!

@mythicalhell The one thing religions fail at doing more than anything is adapting to change. The world has changed so much in the past 10 years due to technology, so it will take time for religions to change their views on topics such as homosexuality and abortion. They had to change in the 1960s with anti-miscegenation, they'll have to change again for abortion and homosexuality. Just be patient with them - they're scared of change.

@Greafgriet If you want to see people afraid of change, look at the abortion advocates. Did you see the article "Surprise, Mom! I'm pro-life!" It spoke about the generational CHANGE between the pro-choice advocates of recent decades, and their anti-abortion children. And have you read about the Gallup polling shifts towards pro-life? How about abortion advocates complaining in the NY Times re state laws limiting abortion? Yes, change is happening, but we're not the ones afraid of it. Are you?
