  • @kawasakirider86 Go ahead and attempt it without jumping on any high compression four stroke above 250cc. Youll be draggin the rear tire all day.

  • y hope on the bike wen u can jst put the bike in gear pull the clutch run and hop on the side of seat an let clutch do its way simpler

  • is it true that valve's can bend while bump starting?

  • Yu don't have to do the jumping part

  • ok awesome thx man

  • Does this work for a Honda CRF150f 2003 model no electric start or nothing electrical.

  • @Teamspeed23 Yes

  • i hope evrybody knows how to do this

  • you can also put it in 3rd gear, hold the clutch, hop on and let go of the clutch duh!!!!

  • Gotta try this tomorrow morning on my XR600 :) nice vid...

  • no shit

  • can I do it on my 110cc?

  • 2:25 fal

  • Just wondering what's the logic behind jumping?

  • @CheeseToast

He explains that in the video.

  • @barclay2099 it would be hard it just depends on the ccs and what gear you in this guy says you can do it in 1st gear but it takes a lot of momentum to get it going so 2nd and 3rd gears are easier to bump than 1st

  • my battery is dead will this work with a four stroke

  • dnt put it in first that will mess ur bike up.

put it in 3rd, hold the clutch in push it fast as u can just on it and just bounce on the seat and let go of the clutch at the same time.

  • after over 40 years riding off road bikes........ dont use first gear!!! for bumpstarting ever.. too much compression 3-4 maybe even 5th if on steep hill mush easier to turn an engine over unless your engine has No compression!

  • i got a 2 stroke ktm 250 exc. and i was unscrewing it and my screw fell into the filter. will anything happen to it. btw thanks man. it sure helped me

  • anyone notice it was floating

  • This doesn't work for my bike nay reason why??

  • is it the same way with an atv?

  • wow i just put it in 2nd, hold in clutch, run like hell, the pop the clutch and it works

  • Alright, u will pop it into second gear mate, it will start better and Not wreck Ur engine, and it will start better also Ride ur gears, dont quick shift mate.

  • will this work on a two stroke

  • On my 85 all i do is run. Dont use the clutch, Click it into first and give it gas at the same time and it starts right up

  • can you start it like that without the key in it

  • @lalagill333 yeup, easy as hell

  • Great bumpstarting lesson mate! especially flooded bikes

  • this is great for any new rider, and will help people who don't know how to do it. couldn't have explained it better, however with a four stroke don't shift down, shift up into second gear, this is because the four stroke engine has higher compression then a 2 stroke, I'm not sure why mechanically it makes a difference, i believe its the torque and gear ratio spin the crank faster and easier in a higher gear is what id assume I don't question what works haha i just use what works for me.

  • when i kick my kx250 it goes al the way down and hits my footpeg how can i fix this

  • when do you release the clutch

  • haha how to run from the coppers lol nice vid

  • How tall are you?

  • thumbs up if you like how he almost falls at the end and then yells thats how its done if you dumb enough you ddont know how to bump start sell your bike/atv and buy a tricycle

  • you dont even need to jump up an come down just hit the throttle and it will start

  • Why dont you just kick it? Haha! ☺

  • @ladiesman2165 this is when your bike is flooded or such cases where you cant kick/electric start your bike

  • hey @motocrosshideout theres an easy way to do it and that is instead of doing all that jumping stuff which makes the bike move around alot its easier just to be going on a straight away or a hill and just hit it into second gear and it will fire right up.

  • doing that will fudge up your gears man!

  • Thank's bro! This helped me a lot!

  • Yes mate, horny big four strokes with manual decompression. Big DR's can be a real pain - any experince of these?

  • Have you got any lessons and videos on bumpstarting and kickstarting bigger thumper bikes?

  • @svenskan007 It's pretty much the same for any bike. Some bikes are a little more finicky than others though. Or are you talking about four-strokes with manual-decmpression?

  • @MotocrossHideout if the bike as manual decompression like some older dirtbikes you can do this too?

  • @MotocrossHideout Yer i have a CRF 250 that is near impossable to kick start, and hasnt been started for a few months, would this work for me? it has manual decompression

  • Cool lesson, good sound and nice bike. How many kicks does it normally take to fire it up?

  • WTF? SICK!

  • Thats so cool

  • Cool, good sound on this one too!
