was that happy, the baby new year (from shiny new year) in this show lol at an angel up in the sky? i am assuming it was not, but that they used him (in here as the angel) again for shiny new year but as another character, baby new year. i find it funny that both shows are about one with big ears.

i just saw the tail end of this (no pun donkey) on abc family and was like - what is baby new year doing in this old video?

This is so wonderful! When I was in kindergarten, I had the solo when we sang this song in our Christmas program. I had completely forgotten about the animated show, too.  Thanks for the memories!

I was there as a little boy when the idea for this song was hatched by Don Pfrimmer in the early 70s around a pool table at my dads friends house (Jack King) in Kodiak Alaska. We had no idea at the time he would really write it but he did and Don went on to be a successful song writer for years to come.

I love nester the movie and  the song. I cry everytime at the part when his mom dies and the last thing she says to him is ears nester. When i was little i always said easter instead of nestor. so thnks for posting it. you bring back memories that i never want to forget.

I like the Rudolph Christmas Specials better than the Nestor Christmas Special,but although,I like Nestor's song better than Rudolph's song. I can listen to Nestor all day,but Rudolph,I may listen to that song 1 or twice than go to Nestor
