He is very good, as Bergonzi said Tabarro is just one shouting match after another, it's exciting but hard on the voice. Cossutta was a great tenor and the greatest Don Carlo I ever saw ,along with his Otello, it was a wonderful Verdi voice. She was right to change her roles to mezzo, like Felicity Palmer, she only had top notes for a few good years and unlike some sopranos was intelligent enough to rethink and have a great career as a mezzo.
