In my opinion, Catalina is one of the most captivating, gorgeous gymnasts of all times, from any country. I first saw her at worlds in 2003 and was instantly captivated. I think Catalina is simply amazing! She had tons of talent and it's unfortunate she did not have a longer career in gymnastics. Nevertheless, she gave us all some very special moments and for that I am very thankful. Btw, she is now training in the US, working at Teodora Ungureanu's Academy in NY.

Hey-if you've got it flaunt it lol. It's an exhibition after all. She actually brought a little sexy to a typical beam routine-which is usually done in a balletic style in exhibition. I like it. Tearing off her skirt was an interesting..touch.. ;)
Catalina was one of my favorite gymnasts at Athens and I was very happy she won gold floor-although I would have preferred Pavlova gold on beam, and Cati silver. Still-she was one of the few who came close to doing something like ARTISTIC gymnastics not just power tumbling with her style and I very much appreciated it.

European's even in traditional Romania, we are not niave enough to believe that once they are over 17, they are virgins and that sexuality is natural..It doesn't make European teens more slutty, just more honest.

This is music by "Gotan Project" the album is "La Revancha Del Tango" Here, she uses "Una Musica Brutal" and "Santa Maria (Del Buen Aire)" The only NCAA gymnast I remember using that first song is Nicole Harris of ASU.

Catalina is wearing more that Shawn Johnson wears on tour and more than she Shawn wore on Dancing In The Stars, I think Shawn was called cute.
I like Shawn Johnson but when it cames to floor and beam, Catalina Ponor blows here out of the water, she has beauty, fluid movement and difficulty.
