Well, under the viewing window in WMM there are two buttons on the right-hand side. One takes a photo of the clip, the other splits the clip. I let the clip play until one of the characters finished speaking, then pressed pause and split the clip. Then I added 'Speed up' onto the clip where Merlin talked.

It's kinda complicated to explain... if you need any further detail, don't hesitate to ask!
