I like your stock and setup. However for those kinda of fish you need to think of a larger filter. Like I run a fluval 405 canister filter and my tank is always crystal clear. Those kinds of filter can't even compete with canister. Also. It couldn't be an algae bloom of that type because it didnt look like you have any plants. I don't in mine and my algae is a brownish color. Good luck and how long could you keep a tsn in a 75 before it out grows it.
@coleofishing this tank is now crystal clear and i only need to do a water change every 2 weeks. the shovel nose is still in there, but i have a 220 gallon, im just working with the filters so i can figure out a plan to get him in there. Im going to make a video this week
ok i had a pond that was very green (now crystle clear) the soulution a uv filter its a ultra vilonte light that will kill all ur green algea (makes your water clear) and i have gone through lots of complications i got bala sharks and a cloumbian shark now gone because i learned balas get to big and cloubians become saltwater so i now am really studing what fish i get sorry went over board ok GET A UV FILTER IT WILL HELP
@NSCaquarium so i had this problem also with my 220 gallon, i couldnt see 4 inches into it, all i did was close the shades and not turn on a light for about 2 weeks. im on my 4th day with no lights and it is looking better. it has been 1 and a half weeks since a water change and it looks like it did after a week, so there is improvment. i know it is not dirty becuase the filters arent dirty. But do you think some of it could be from the catfish?
@msd1412 no no not at all the catfish dont do anything to the aquarium its just the growth of algea in a aquarium algea will grow if their is water even if their is abouslutly no light brown algea will grow so their is really no possiblilty of makeing sure u have no algea the 2 best cleaning sources are a uv filter and a algea eater but if you dont have those you probaly need to get a really good filter and possibly get a magnet cleaner for ur tank good luck though
@NSCaquarium ya i did a 40% water change 3 days ago and the tank is still clear, i think i just had the light on too long. I have kept the light off for a week now and the algea isnt growing anymore. I think it is ok now tho
@pjo17 what is the carbon for the filters and i dont know if i should get a pleco becuase my managuenese is very territorial he doesnt bite but he pushes back the shovelnose
@pjo17 i usually do once a week but it doesnt look dirty that looks more like an algea bloom, the tank has been clearing up since i kept the lights off
