  • I think you mean this is the source material for the sample.

  • @vampyros1 Yes when splitting hairs :) he micro-sampled sections.

  • this is how sampling should be done. creating new licks by cutting old ones instead of simply lifting the entire thing and changing the tempo or something... well done nu-mark

  • wow, i always assumed it was from the munster's tv show not the theme but it sounded like something from the show but i could never place it now i know. thanks!

  • Sometimes you have to hear the original sample to know how gifted a producer is... Nu-Mark chopped this one up nicely!

  • The timbre of the organ sounds the same, but I don't hear the lick from the Jurassic Five song at all. Where is it?

  • @wusundowma Starting at 6 seconds, as you rightly said it's the organ, originally it goes E,E, G#, G#, A#, A#, B, C, E, E1 & E2, then Nu-mark chops up the sample (probably using an MPC) then re-arranges it to B, C, A#, A#, G#, G#, A#, A#, E, E, A#, C, E, B, A# A#, G#, A#, E, E1 & E2.

I'll try and sort something out tonight if you want me to show it?

  • wow, so thats the sample.........

  • Nice didn't know this sample.

  • @bikstok5 Cheers, it's great how Nu-mark cut up the sample, it's one of my favourites.
