Swim Bladder disorder turns them upside down. Add cooked and shell peas a couple of times a week into his diet and he shouldn't have this problem again. :)
@scholesyandsidwell Wrong starve the fish for 3 days (a fish can live for 2 weeks before getting hungry so don't worry) then feed it defrosted crushed up peas.
@Skaterboy1091 Peas are not poison to the fish. I have fed my betta fish peas when he had swim bladder. The tank was filled with Planaria parasites and he kept eating them nonstop.. (THANKFULLY, I FINALLY GOT RID OF THEM!) The fish was back to normal in 1 day (for me!)
Also when feeding peas to a fish, put the pea in hot boiling water and peel off the skin. Then put it in cooler water. Peas clear up the system so that they won't have swim bladder anymore..
i had the same fish 4 years ago..i still remember it getting eatin by this other (diffrent species) fish when i put them in the tank... the guy who sold them to me was an assclown.
why the hell do black moors do that? both of mine did that right before they died. i had several fantail fish, and it was only these that did that.. wtf? anyone kknow?
are you sure that the fish is really dying? fishes, like goldfishes, are famous for their big stomachs, and sometimes when they eat floating food, they swallows air, and turns upside down automatically. =) its no need to worry

that happened to mine but instead of gold on bottom in turned gold on sides and the eyeball turned gold and it died then we had to put my alive fish in a creek the name was goldie and she lasted for months
i had a fiddler crab 5 danios 3 red eyed tetra 2 sophia tetra and some one put dish washing sope in the 20 gallon tank and they all died exept the crab wich lived for a nother 3 weeks
i had 15 gold fish 1 betta 2 glowfish 2 fancy guppies all in a 15 20 gallon tank one of my fancy tails guppies most of my fish died but one of my guppies i was cleaning the tank and i put him back in the tank i thought he was playing dead hahahah fail
Should re-name title to Black Moor Swim Bladder Problem. Luckily for you its very easy curable. Unlike mine they had white spot and by the time I gave them treatment it was too late. :(
All u have to do when it's swim bladder stops working is take the fish out of water, tie a piece of string around the fish and put a little peice of styrofoam on the other end of the string. He won't be able to swim down, but he'll live!
The fish is called a black moore. It is not dying as said before it has swim bladder disorder. You can feed it skined peas like said above or spinch (washed well either way) they also have treatment at your local pet store for it. your feeding your fish too much that is why this happens
How is it doing?
