watching this shows me how much of a show off chris adler isnt. he doesnt put like 20 cymbals on his drumset but then only uses 3. there are a lot of drummers who do that and thats stupid. there are many reason that chris my fav drummer but the fact that he is a real drummer and plays for the passion for the instrument and not the looks is the biggest reason of them all.

Mike Portnoy, Terry Bozzio, and (oh jeez..) Joey Jordison didn't pay for a single thing on their set.

@theydidntnameme The loudest thing to hear is the drums. Unless the venue or stage has really good monitors or you're wearing a headset it's hard to hear anything else really. Even with said monitors it's difficult. That's why some drummers will have clicks playing through earbuds to keep time. As long as the drums are on time the guitars should be able to keep up and the vocals should follow.
