I always thought of this song as less an indictment of grunge and more of a satire aimed at the early 90's music industry's efforts in exploiting all things Seattle. As with most scenes, a few bands were really good and the rest were mediocre or sucked completely.

They really are identical in humor, their voices can make even the most mundane stories turn into the most hilarious bits you've ever heard.

I am planning on it =) I actually got it because my dad has a few songs in this kind of genre and has been reluctant to try to get them heard.
