Are you just standing up and playing that thing or do you have a strap?

....I was using a strap.... wasn't storing enough to hold that thing for an hour..

I wasn't sure since I couldn't see it. I'm a (small, female) bass clarinetist myself and only after a lot of practice have I been able to play it while standing up without a strap.

Well.. i usually play Bb clarinets... and I would have to play the bass with a strap because even I am using a small-low-Eb-bass clarinet, it's still really heavy for me. How do you practice that?
