  • to all the folks calling this mushroom "very poisonous", that is hardly true. Yes, it is toxic, many people consume it recreationally, I don't like the effects, it makes me feel drunk, but on the flipside, many people, like myself, parboil it and and eat it with no ill effect whatsoever. It is delicious.

  • I don't get it. I get that Toadstool peach the mario princess is named toadstool for the red and white mushroom being Toadstool, but why would mario eat it to become bigger if it's poisonous? Probably just to get to obtain flowers and burn things...

  • @LegoTechnic1 Mario doesn't get bigger, he's just tripping... :-D

  • HI, did you find the mushrooms outside, dig them up and place them into a set up in your studio? Very curious.. :)

  • Hey guys, this has been awarded as Featured Video of the Day on Time Lapse Italia, today!

  • now I feel like playin Mario! O.o

  • Very nice video, thanks! BTW, the species name is spelled Amanita muscaria.

  • do not eat this please you will regret it no mattar wat

  • why di the mushroom fall?

  • That's what a toadstool looks like? I thought they look like closed unbrellas but they look like opened unbrellas

  • so beautiful

  • Great video - I'd be very interested to know if fly agaric grows in the wild as fast as your time lapse movie in the studio - which was 3 days if I'm correct? We found an egg stage fly agaric last Saturday and want to return and view it again this weekend! Many thanks.

  • I'm curious why you only filmed the growth process and not the entire life cycle through it's degeneration and dissolution?

  • yummy.. Mmm.

  • Beautiful!! *****

mai letto? - Il pianeta del silenzio

    Romanzo

    Autore: Stanislaw Lem

  • @vuotopiuscuro Ciao!

  • 0:34 haha it fell over.

  • @chetabumposess09 It fell over because the stem was eaten by maggots. Although the fungi is poisonous to humans, some flies lay their eggs on the fungi for their larvae to eat which is interesting because a lot of maggots eat rotting flesh whereas many fly larvae eat vegetation.

  • @neilbromhall Ive seen my mate store some psilocybe mushies in an air tight tin for a few days and when he opened it later he found full developed flies inside the tin that had hatched out of the shrooms while stored. Makes you wonder how many maggots you digest each time you eat shrooms without knowing it.

  • @neilbromhall it is not poisonous. It's a myth.

  • OH MY GOD! (tee hee!).

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks for the video, pretty cool. One of my favorite channels on youtube. In my yard slugs usually eat fungi before they can mature..

  • Very Very awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • this is beautiful :) and the music goes great.

  • Beautiful !

  • Thanks for taking the time to make this video and thanks for sharing it. :)

  • @BeorhtFrognostic Thank you for your kind comment. I'm delighted that you like the time-lapse.

    Best wishes

    Neil

  • This is amazing! When the fungi open they remind me of a sci-fi movie! Are those slugs whizzing about? Do they eat the fungi?

  • @APurseyful Yes slugs do eat fungi. I think that they might be beneficial to the fungi by distributing some their spores - though I'm not certain.

Maybe an expert can advise if they do or not.

  • @APurseyful If those slugs eat that they must be tripping balls. Haha.
