tons of guys out there like Ryan Bingham, Jason Harrod, Wade Bowen, Chris Knight, Patterson Hood, Jason Isbell and others are relatively unknowns while being FABULOUS songwriters.
it sucks for them, but that means I can go to the Pour House (Raleigh NC) and drop 15 dollars for the BEST music and shows, and not have to mess with 50 dollar tix and a bunch of drunk wannabee badasses at a "concert." Low revenue venues is where the REAL music is.
