back. One of the best bikes Ive ridded. Stability/Power/comfort. My trade my 675 for one of these soon. Riding position reminds me of my old Buell X.

People, I'd appreciate some opinions about possible reliability problems with the Street Triple. Mainly timing chain tensioner problems, oil leakage in the head gasket, coolant leakage in the radiator hoses and faulty electronics. Thanks a lot.

odacirsaraoseaia1999 I wouldn't worry about the reliability.  If you cruise the 675 .net website you'll find very few issues with the street triple.

My 06 speed triple is bullet proof. I would buy a used speed triple.

Those are my two favorite bikes I have ever had the pleasure of riding. Can't wait to get the Street Triple as my next bike.

ride both of them coz they really different. I have a 2010S3 and an frind of mine has a 2010st3. The larger S3 pulls all the time any gear any rpm like a bloody rottweiler. Its gets to fast speeds very fast but can be a bit wild when cornering at high speeds. But once u figure it out its a great and exciting ride, the Street will pull a bit then hit higher rmp and take off like a bat out of hell. Doesnt have the same bruttish pull constant pull of the S3 but is easier and more fun to ride.

I really wish MCN would learn to not set the music so damn high. I can hardly hear him. I have been playing around with my audio settings but nothing seems to be of much effect.

I've always had sports bikes, for the last ten years, just sold an 08 R1 and bought a Triumph, so glad i did!!! its re-ignited my passion for bikes, i was bored of pointless 170 bhp missiles on the road,

I bought the Tiger 1050, put some sticky tyres on it and a nice Arrow can...beautiful!!! and so much fun..

Street Triple is a fantastic bike but the owner's ruined the look of the back of the bike with that exhaust, might sound better but it looks shit compared to the standard twin high level exhaust.

I agree! Fitting the 3-1 exhaust ruins the motorcycles looks. It's a gorgeous bike. Esthetically its very well balanced. Change the exhaust, if you want, but not change its positioning and configuration. Personally, I really dont like the piece, painted in the same color as the tank, covering the lower part of the crankcase (dont know if it is the right name for it).

I'm 6' 4" and I'm riding a street triple (with really long legs). I had the same concerns as you but went for it. I feel completely comfortable on the bike. My brother has the Speed triple, but I like the Street better. It's more agile and lighter.
