How And Why to Save SHSH Blobs With Tiny Umbrella

Hi Jeff, i got a problem, everytime i turn on my tinyumbrella and then plug my iphone 4 to my computer, my device did not appear in the left box, please tell me what went wrong. im using the latest tiny umbrella 5.10.07. appreciate if u can help

When I saved my SHSH, I only got 3 blobs. Those are 4.3.3, 4.3.4 and 4.3.5. My version is 4.2.1, does this mean that I can't go back to 4.2.1 anymore if I want to downgrade? Thanks! Subscribed! :)

u know when u go to cydia it says SHSH on the top. Mine says 4.33, and 4.3.5 does that mean i can downgrade to 4.3.3. yes or no anyone help u will be gladly appreciated thanks :D

@Surfzeh ,you are wright ,you can downgrade to 4.3.3 ,but you have to know where are these SHSH blobs ,good luck.

Good question. I believe you can save your blobs without jailbreaking, at least from Apple, but I think to/from Cydia as well. Can any of you guys confirm this? It's been a while since I've used an unjailbroken device :P

@GodSubscriber I actually did zoom in. That's as far as I could zoom, considering I want both items on the screen at the same time so you could see what's happening. You're going to need to use full screen mode. :-/

@truerider211 It allows you to downgrade your firmware in the future. Without these blobs, you can no longer downgrade after Apple stops signing older firmware. This usually happens in a short amount of time after new firmware is publicly released.
