Stop attacking people for using hair feathers!! The rooster are not killed for the "sake of fashion" like so many people think.these feathers were originally used for fly fishing.I don't agree with animal cruelty but when this trend dies out the rooster will still be bred and killed for that.it's always when someone uses things for fashion and beauty that the animal activist come out screaming cruelty. smh...

I use to get saddles from a certain fly shop in Oregon but he tripled the price due to this trend and now I hear whiting farms is SOLD OUT of grizzly hackles completely, until the next generation of roosters are ready for harvest. ridiculous. But, like every other trend this will pass and prices will drop. Just need to wait it out til end of this year beginning of next.

I really hope you ppl out there who are animal lovers do not support this trend. These feathers are typically being used for fly fishing but the pain and torture that these animals endure is atrocious. The roosters that are used genetically raised for their feathers and only live 1 yr because they do not survive the torture of the plucking. Please think twice by jumping on the bandwagon for the sake of fashion

you can just make the haha. Go to michaels and guy some feathers and put them on a bead with string or just weave into ur hair. so easy. and a bag of 200+ feathers is like $3. wih the bag of feathers u can then make earings or whatever else. people tryin to get up yo pockets n snatch yo monies!

Thanks to this new fashion what it`s been originally design and genetically impoved to supply the demand of fly tiers is now becoming almost imposible to get decent feathers to do this, also prices for a full quality saddle rised over 300% in many cases. All in the name of the beautiness?? It sucks!!!
