I love the 1957 Plymouth Fury's. I have just bought a real matching numbers 1958 Plymouth Fury I'm currently restoring her at the moment :) She's cost me alot of money and I mean alot! But in the end its definitely worth it !
I'm a GM guy but I really like the 1957-1958 Plymouths and Chryslers. I hope I can find a 57 or 58 Belvedere sometime in the future so I could restore it.
This car is nearly 100 percent correct, the only think which was not right about it is the paint beneath the trunk lid. None of these cars or their counterparts received body color there. They all were argent silver. Very nice car with a top shelf restoration. Probably restored to "better than factory" condition. Everything else is as it should be without scrutinizing the options with the build tag. However, there are MANY more than 60 left. Still very rare though...
actually carthage, those air cleaners are factory correct for 57...i think you expected them to look like the 58 which are gold oval, but 57 had sidemount air cleaners. i can't speak for those door panels tho, i've seen infinity different variations of them
two things:1: the inside door panels are not original Plymouth design. and 2: that air filter is not original Plymouth air filter nor is it an optional feature. but however that is a beautiful car.

Believe it or not, the movie "Christine" used up a-lot of these very rare cars, both the 57's and 58's. Most were completely destroyed in the film.

@johnson11b they bought 24 cars and put them together and restored them so they had 17 working cars and they destroyed all but two of them:)

This is restored better than factory. The factory slammed these babies out in a day or two, not 14 months ! LOL.............

i believe all 57s came with tri-power (three-2bbl carbs) its the wrong color of white and he does indeed have the wrong door panels for a 57 fury
