just roll back on the distortion m8 and but when ur testing ur sound have it on bridge pickup, and then switch to the neck for clean tone it should sound ok, dont be fooled with the distortion, mark morton from lamb of god cleverly said it almost always sounds better with less distortion

and he uses more than 2 effects, he has a wah, a talxbox, a multifx board, delay, a chorus pedal and a noise suppresor so mngus wtf r u on about
