No, it controls the winamp from the DS. The sound outputs to your PC speakers as usual.
The only program I know to stream sound to the DS is SylphAMP, but it doesn´t work on newer DS Lite and it´s discontinued since 2006, but if you have a DS Phat, give it a try.
