I have lived in Korea most of my life and I have never heard of a thing called an Eggnog til I went to America and people started mentioning it during Christmas.. so I think it's more of Koreans have no clue on what it is ^^ that's why we don't have it?

In Australia, Christmas is in summer so it is totally different.....A perfect typical Christmas for Australians would be the big lunch, the beach, cricket or other types of summer sports and plenty of drinking and eating what's leftover from lunch for dinner. For me, the whole winter Christmas seems so backwards, but, thats what you get from being from the other end of the world :D

Granted, the individuals who make this video have been in Korea for only a few years but it has to be pointed out that Christmas has a long tradition dating far back in the country. Barely 18% of Koreans are Protestants in Korea. All the rest is just young kids having fun trying not to get pregnant. Japan's even more this way. Nearly a couple of % of Japanese are Christians yet the whole country more commercializes the holiday than any other nations in the world. And if you ask individuals on the Japan street about meaning of the Xmas, almost no one can answer.
