he needs to stop hittinng the ball so hard i bet when it flies out of the gun it has a flat side on it. it's one thing to hit it once to make sur it's a the bottom butt he hits it all the way down

You keep calling your powder measures powder horns. Would be confusing to a Tenderfoot. You didn't mention using a buffer such as wasp nest when loading.

i have a 50. cal muzzleloader. i wish it was like this one though. mine is all black, metal components on a synthetic body. very light, but not much to look at.
