If you geared correctly you could get your effective mana regen as a mage to absolutely INSANE numbers in BC. If you factor in Evocation, Mana pots every two minutes, mana gems every two minutes, clearcasting procs, etc. the numbers are staggering. Well over 1000 mp5 (by the end of SWP mine was approaching 1600 mp5 -- at level 70.

Thier is a diamond on your brothers head because all of the ranged dps are supposed to group up on him in phase 2. This minimises slash dmg done by illidan in this phase essentially giving the healers oly a group of few people to keep up at a time during that phase. :)

Arcane mages get 60% of their MP5 while casting, also while you're in Illidan's Shadow Prison, you're not casting and relieve 100% mp5, I believe I was around 725 mp5 in the gear and buffs I had in this clip.
