The way i see it, if you can surf Vta County at its worst, then when it does go-off, you deserve to make a G-land story out of it, which everybody does, old guys, young guys, we all embellish surfing, thats what makes it fun, a 6 foot barrel by yourself will turn into a 2 foot overhead pit when telling your friends...

Ive lived in Oxnard my whole life (22 years). Ive surfed all the way from blacks's beach in SD to just past surfers point at UCSB and the only thing ive ever seen is a 2 foot leoperd shark which i think arnt even agressive. Who knows, maybe im just lucky or your just a tripper.
