Thats true that the elyos look down on them however, it was the asmodians who attacked first. In both lores it says that when they first encoutered each other the asmodian Zikel grabbed the squad leader of the Elyos and told'em to denounce the elyos lords and admit their the reason the tower fell, when he refused he killed'em and the eylos and asmodians squads began fighting n only 2 elyos got away. Plus during the falling of the tower many later to be asmodians were against the peace treaty.
