Thats not what happened at all. To make Crash Bandicoot Naughty dog had to sign a deal with Universal for only 3 games after that universal pretty much told ND to fuck off. but now that ND are owned by sony they can keep their own games, they jsut took a break from J+D for a while

after CTR or Crash Team Racing(pretty much crash number 4 as I used to call it). i played crash bash and things seemed a little different

i rented the brand new(at the time) Crash Bandicoot:The Wrath of Cortex and it, well was bad

i waited a long time untill i saw another crash game currently named Crash Mind over Mutants and that was the worst one i played!

One of the developers once let slip the words "she", but really we'll never know.

Pyro is voiced by a man, but at the same time, it's not exactly clear.
