As for being unhappy, I think not. I have a very successful career, a nice home, a happy and stable social/personal life, a brand new loaded X6 50i (still have my '07 335i CV), and I get a chance to travel at least once a month. To top it off, I eat healthy and exercise 4-5x per week so I'm in good shape as well.
