  • Hello,

How does the screen look when exposed to direct sunlight?

    Is it still readable?

I own a convertible, so I'm wondering if this Pioneer is usable on a convertible when the roof is down.

Thank you for your nice video.

  • @wnepe

The display is of course reflecting the sunlight but very diffuse so it stays kind of readable.

While it is really bad compared to displays made for sunlight, it is quite good compared to any glossy display.

Depends mainly on the angle it is built in. I guess if it is almost in 90 degree mounted and reflects the interiour and not the sky it sould be okay.

  • is het een afneembaar frontje??

  • @barryAmsterdam No, it does not! Meanwhile there is a successor F20BT which is the same hardware but new software version. I did the upgrade and it is really good. Lots of improvements and of course new map version.

  • hi, do you get any problems playing mp3's off a usb stick? Mine doesnt seem to like playing mp3s and freezes, music stops starts etc. And doesnt like some usb sticks. any one else experience this with their f10bt?

  • @660maniac i wanted to get a portable hdd for my f20bt these things can't power portable hdds though i got a portable hdd tht requires next to no power to run and the f20bt reads next to no files i probaly tell u to get a kenwood if u want to be able to play msuic of a usb stick cause pioneer devices can't handle them yet ive emailed pioneer and i tihkn thy are loooking to allow the new system to be able to support a portable hdd which would make so much sense its a cheaper way

  • Hello,

very nice videos you have made since.

have you ever tried an external usb hdd connect to the avic f10bt?

    if so

    it worked

had the size of hard drives, which manufacturer and which model?

  • Nice, i have this model camry and am looking for upgrade from a clarion vrrx series, did u wire this up yourself?

  • No, it was built in by a car audio dealer.

Was very fast... built in within 20 minutes.

  • Hi, just for info... i am still very happy with the f10bt after using it for 2 months now.

Btw, my car is a toyota camry model 2004 and i only have the factory loudspeaker system which is very good (in my opinion).

It does not have a subwoofer but the bass is very strong.

The audio in the video is lousy... but acceptable ;-)

(Camera was a canon S5 digital still).

  • Amazing video audio i give a 5***** and what is the config you have in your car please let me know
