Oh man. This is amazing. They're always on the cutting edge...the Moodies. Beautiful job guys. Just beautiful. Love the depth. The lyrics to this song sing so well of the human condition. Brinkmeyer Archangel.
Moody Bules, May to be an answer to all of us that get into themselves? If anyone listens to the 7 TRIPS of the MOODY BLUES anyone could understand! They are the greatest for me at the end of the day!!! Some people need a drink to relax (I do not say that I don't) But the Moody bluses just relaxes me...But that is just me
@wildwindsca@moneyusper I know John says they have some venues booked as far ahead as 2014--great news to us fans. Graeme was asked what he will be doing after he quits and he answered, in that great accent, "Pushin' up daisies."
I bought this tape whilst living in South Africa in 1975, I played it so much that the tape finally snapped. For a few pounds I have recently been able to replace it on CD....brilliant memories!
Was it really 35 years ago? Was i ever that young? YES, and preserved somewhere it their music I ALWAYS will be....this is no ordinary "band"...if things are just, their music will live forever...
I remember this well, I was in love with a very beautiful girl... things just didn't work out. I heard this song when we broke up... I often wondered if things would have worked out. Miss her and it has been over 30 years ago.
The Moody Blues and Justin Hayward get better and better as the years shoot by at warp speed. This came out in Spring '75 as I was finishing my senior year in high school and waiting to report to Marine Boot Camp in San Diego. This song came out about the same time that I met a girl who sat two rows across from me in consumer finance. We met,we fell in love and this october we will celebrate our thirty-second wedding anniversary. This definitely brings me back to that time.....Thanks for Posting
@borecleaner1 I agree wholeheartedly borecleaner man! This song does a similar thing to me as well. After a 4 year Navy stint I was "back home with Mom and Dad" and must have been yearning for unfound love as, when this tune came on the radio, the emotion and tears totally confused me! How could a mere song on the radio make me feel this way?! 2 years later I met HER and now......yup, thanks Justin (and John) for the guidance.....and the recurring emotional memory.
@kirkwallboy My wife took me to a Moody Blues concert in Woodinville,WA last saturday night [ 04 June].It was EVERYTHING I EXPECTED IT TO BE..AND MORE.....I loved every frickin' second of it.They started with ''Gypsy'' and just under two hours later, they finished with ''Ride my See-Saw''.....One more thing crossed off of my ''bucket list''.............
thank you for the beauty!

My favorite Blue Jays song. No matter how many good singers there are that I like, I will always pick Justin Hayward over them all.

I bought this song "I Dreamed Last Night" by J.H. in Fall of 85.
I Dreamed for 1whole year until I finally saw her again for the last time in Aarhus 86!
Her scent, her kiss, her beauty, her sad wet puppy eyes will always be with me by heart!
But the Best thing from the Moody Blues has got to be the best ballad ever made!
"NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN"!

Bought this over thirty years ago. I STILL go back to this song.
Best thing they/moody's ever recorded.

What an outstanding video!
Have not heard this Moody Blues classic since the 70's.
Sure seems prophetic with current events.

This song stands up against any of the great Moody Blues hits. The orchestration really stands out.
Does anyone know who did the orchestration?
