I clamped a Manfrotto Super Clamp to the bike frame and screwed a SLIK SBH-100 ballhead onto that (just unscrew the head from any tripod). You can instantly mount a camera or flash to just about anything with that setup.
Awesome video, and a great response to the original (waaay better than mine!)
OMFG - I don't get flickr notifications and watching this video was the first time I found out you'd used my Nutella photo as wallpaper! I thought I was going to pass out from laughing so hard!
LOL! Very well done in that case! I nerly missed this one though. I'd watched your one with your sister, but hadn't subbed yet. I only noticed this when I was stalking Dinzla's Twitter page.
Oh no the mist!... Yep that is fog coming up Los Osos Valley and rolling over Cerro San Luis. I actually think of fog as a very positive force, having grown up among the fog dependent Northern California Coastal Redwoods: reminds me of home :)
Had an almost similar day, last year at this time. Do you enjoy working with Eclipse? I somehow just don't like it. Netbeans is my Java IDE of choice.
And this time, don't delete it again, or you will never make it to the most discussed list. :P
I actually haven't used too IDEs much, usually just gedit and gcc/javac for academic projects.
I did try Netbeans a few years ago and liked eclipse better, but I'll try out Netbeans at home again (our project all set up to build and generate with eclipse and use aspectj) I didn't like eclipse that much either at first, but it has started to grow on me.

Ally! Judging by Jesse's new wallpaper, you were right about me leading the youth astray with talk of 5 kg jars of Nutella! The photo is straight off my Flickr...
Nice vid mate.

My childhood redheaded friend Matt Hill always wanted to move up there to SLO. He used to live in Orange County.
Can I do something like that? How did you mount your camera to your bike? To do the riding shots and the downward shots?
man1d2tran 3 years ago
Yep, SLO is a pretty amazing place.

you obiously have nutella over in the US, and you seem to like it too :D
tavin15 3 years ago
"you seem to like it" You could say that...
I was first introduced to it by a fellow student who had done a study abroad program in Germany: He'd had it for breakfast every day he was there.
jp3d2k 3 years ago
nutella is an important part of the german culture :D
and you can get it in normal shops there?
tavin15 3 years ago
Ya it is available in the supermarkets, but only dinky 371g plastic containers.

Wow, that's a great response!
Is that fog in the end? Now that would totally scare me thinking about that Steven King story...

Oh wow yes - I watched that movie the other day, and seeing that coming in exactly the same way wouldn't have been a good thing!

Nice references to the original. ;)
