  • perfect handling, like it.

    thumbs up!

  • can anyone tell me where the gimmick of this trick is placed before the performance??

  • @06climax It's Impromptu

  • Comment removed

  • @Alfalotter its not..

  • @06climax Well I don't really know, I was just going by what it said at the start of the video.

  • It's a very very powerfull trick.I do this at home. 40-50 minutes elapsed until I realised what he did, and where were the tricky moves. But it worth it. :D I'm very happy to i can do this trick from beginning to end.

Dear bicros97, I got how this trick works by watching it. :) so...You can start to laugh

  • The way u wrote the marks were too obvious.

  • can you say me the name of the double lift by 0:39 .

    thanks

    kontricks

  • BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE LIFT :DD

  • thnx for tutorial xD

  • Lmao, those people who say they got how this trick works by watching it make me laugh. So there might be a few instances where you know what move he did, but there is a lot more complexity within this trick. This what magicians would call "dirty moves". It means things are going on that you can't even see. As a performer of this trick, it is a lot more complex than the video shows.

  • @blcros97 If you're a magican you can just figure it out by good thinking. If you do the 'dirty moves' you can figure that out by good thinking as well.

And it are no complex moves but just the beginners moves

  • @peerke111 Your right, the moves themselves are not to difficult even for the amateur magician, but there is a level of thinking that comes with experience to be able to recreate and perform the trick yourself. I love this trick!

  • @blcros97 I love the trick also he knows how to bring the magic!

  • thanks for the tutorial ^^

  • Great performance! I liked EVERYTHING except for the fancy double lifts. It's not natural. Keep it simple

  • actually i get it after watching a few videos

  • you've just revealed your trick indirectly, from the video i know what exactly you did,the specatators will blow u off if u do it in front of them

  • Wanna trade Identity for Stigmata by Wayne Houchin, KAOS(Surgical card through window) and Torn Too by Daniel Garcia and Liquify?

  • Excellent handling. I agree with krmarlo about the revolve flourish on the doubles... I feel like it draws too much "magic is happening" flash to what should look as mundane as possible: showing a single card. I agree you should buy identity both to support a great magic product inventor and instructor, but also because the DVD is fantastic. What markers do you guys use? I find sharpies to look too watery.

  • it is a theory i just don't understand the name change.

  • yeah...we can see the double lift all the time xd

  • its not gimick i can do this on regular deck. wahahaha noob!!!

  • now that is what i call magic i know the lifts and that but man the visual effect is good

  • guys i don't know if there is a gimmick but i figured out a handling that has the same outcome and doesn't require a gimmick.... :D

  • Very sharp handling on this. The fancy lift doesn't fit my personal style (I stay away from flourishy handlings as a performance choice), but you work it really well here. I enjoyed this.

As for the gaff, "refills" can be obtained via any magic dealer for quite cheaply. You'll understand why when you purchase the trick (which I encourage everyone to do to ensure Richard can continue to bring us more great pieces of magic).

This routine was worth every cent. Absolutely kills for me every time.

  • i got it just by watching it

  • No, you think you got it. In reality, you most likely got it all wrong.

  • awesome performance! Don't pay too much attention to some of these posts. It was very clean. The end effect is more like an extra kicker anyways, and any faults in the material is due the trick's nature, not your performance, though I'd challenge you to play continue to work with it and maybe see what other uses whole idea of the gimmick can be used for. nice job.

  • go buy it dork

  • Just watch closely. He didn't really write the Random Marks on it but the final touch. 1st question. "Y do he need to cover it?"

and obviously, he controls the card back on the top of the deck.

  • no shit wanker its not REAL why do people always do that, of course he has to do that or else the effect wouldn't work so stop thinking your so good for stating the obvious, to a laymen they wouldn't relise anything but to us of course we know

  • i know how it is done! hahaha. :) i think it is different from the original version of sanders.

  • yea wayy to long,if he was performin dis ppl would git bored unless he has a really good story to go along with it

  • What type of african mumbo jumbo was this?? Music made me hate this trick and it was way too long...

  • the only part i don't get is how when he writes those random marks on the back of the jack, that he's really writing the word magic, i just don't get get how he switches them.

  • That performance takes WAAAAYYYY to long to get the effect, and any magician can see that is just a bunch of double lifts and color changes. No gimmick needed.

  • there is no gimmick included with the dvd because it can be easily made at home .all u need is a sharpie and a card.

  • c tahts what i thought its just a double backer with marks on it.,., and y do they keep saying its a gimmic thats comes with the dvd???? its really bugging me...

  • uh uh.. you gotta draw the marks yourself. Besides the routine, everything else is lame.

  • whats ur justification for turning over the deck?

    Do you just do it?

  • its a natural motion to hide "the pass"

  • its a half pass.

  • I love this trick. Although it is basic sleights it really is a great idea by Richard Sanders. Good handling man.

    -Jake

  • Wow, really nice handling!

  • This is a great effect. And the presentation in this video is fantastic, keep it up! :)

  • it says on the site that the gimmick is a bicycle card. where can u get refills if it wears out or something?

  • Refills? You don't need refills. Nothng can be filled in this trick. The gimmick card lasts as long as a normal cards

  • yeah the gimmick card lasts as long as normal cards. sooooo do they include more than 1 gimmick??

  • I suppose this is revealing it a bit but the video for Identity is a bit misleading. All the gimmick is is a double sided card, and you only get one. There's several double lifts required and also a triple lift..

  • ohh..alright.

im getting this trick definitely lol.

along with autograph by justin miller

greeeeaaat great effect if u dont know what it is, u should check it out :]

  • Great presentation - Kickass ending! That's how a trick should end magician! 5*

    //Chris

  • this is so easy to do i figured it out the day i saw this any body wana trade this trick for any thing

  • i got this trick a couple of days ago waiting for it to cme in.....i hope it isnt so hard to learn it it looks tough

  • I bought this the day it came out and I can tell you honestly that the most basic version is by far one of the easiest effects you can do. the one shown on the demo is actually the maxed out version and even that one is fairly easy to do with the card and it is one of those effects that you say to yourself when you get it, "Why didn't I think of doing that?!?!?!?!?"

  • Very nice! Like your handling on this.

  • wow nice lift, can you post a tutorial of the lift?

  • I think it's the spacewalk DL! Look it up on youtube :)

  • nice vid the music got on my nerves , way too much. nice and smooth trick

  • try to make the "dirt" moments shorter and the magic moments longer... and work a little on presentation. good trick. thanks.. next week i will learn to do it too

where can i learn your double lift?

  • triple lift....xD

  • ¡Wonderfull!

  • okay! thanks ..

  • i started performing this last night, good work ...

    Cheers

    R

  • How many double lifts do you have to do and does the DVD come with gimmick card? On a scale of 1-5 and 5 being expert how difficult is this?

  • it is very easy and a good trick i got it 2 weeks ago and the double lifts are taught on the dvd and it does have a gimmick you can make it in under a minute the scale is on the routine you pick i give it a 2-3
