  • My feet tap too!!!! Idk why but it seems to help. Who knows. And i guarantee you cood bench 185 once on a good day especially if u hav a spotter put their fingers under the bar which will give the illusion tht they are helping and youll do mor weight. GOOD JOB!

  • I know this is over a year old, but do you still bench like that? If so, you need to widen your grip a little. Make sure your elbows are directly under palms to get more power. and you should be bringing your shoulder blades together to help take so much of the shoulder out of the equation.

  • @VolumenTone Haha, ya I've gotten my form down much better over this year. Here within the nest couple of days I'll be trying 225, and I also put up 185x9, so I'll be seeing if I can get over 10 reps as well. Watch some of my more recent videos, though.

  • @NwodAFoMetsys1118 if you did 135 x 10, your max was probably at least 180 or so. just sayin.

  • @robllyd2 No, 75 was just my warm up in this video, 155 wasn't my max here either though, my max in this video was probably 165, so I could've gotten 155 a couple more times but it was so cold and I was really stiff I didn't really feel like pushing myself. But I can help you out a little with some sets if you leave me with your max or a weight you can do a low amount of reps with.

  • @NwodAFoMetsys1118 I can lift 94 lbs, with 10 reps each time, and i usually do about 6 times 10 reps, in a span of about 15 mins, by gym scales i weigh 50 kg about 115 lbs. Im 17, is that considered strong for a guy that started gym 3 weeks ago?

  • @muzimuzi Ya lol, my toes are actually on the ground so I'm actually kinda tippy toe-ing, but I'm laying down lol. This video is pretty old though haha, I've leaned up quite a bit since this video. And I'm better with my form haha.

  • If you can do 135x10 then you should be able to 1rep max about 185...at least.

  • @xLeggitx Ya, I was recovering from being sick this day so I didn't feel like doing anything to heavy really, check out some of my other videos though. I've put up 135 17 times, 155 10 times, and 195 once.

  • @xLeggitx not true at all, depends on the person and experience. i am around 140, rep 185, so far only tried to max 205 and did it. after reping 185 7 times. in the gym or else id have a few videos

  • yeh you easily got 170+ i can only 6 rep 135 and my max is 160. If you can 10 rep 135 your looking at least 170+ max. Nice

  • @pureofdastr Ya, check out some of my other videos, I got 135 for 17 reps, and 155 for 10 reps, also I have a video of me doing 195. Since it's summer I'm going to get back into lifting more, since I've been in school I've been doing it more casually rather than trying to improve.

  • @TDxALABAMA I'm 17 and I weigh about 150. A while ago I worked out a lot more but I stopped for some reason and hadn't lifted for a good month or so, but before that I was up to 190 as my max. 155 is by no means my max, I probably have 170, I just didn't do it because I was lazy.
