  • hahahaha the fat dude, Mauy thai forever- even for the fat kids.... Samui 23rd april for 3 weeks of trainin in paradise. yeah baby bring it on

  • Muay Thai is the most brutal....period...

  • This video clearly shows muay thai's inferior boxing skills.

  • @anklebreaka03 Muay thai has greater emphasis on kicks knees and elbows. When compared to boxing its far more brutal a sport.

  • ya obviously. i wasn't saying its not a brutal sport. I've been doing muay thai for 2 years now just yesterday i almost broke my forearms blocking kicks and have like a massive egg on my shin from throwing full blast kicks and getting them checked. Its clearly more brutal but boxing is a major part of any combat sport and muay thai has terrible boxing, its just a fact.

  • wut does inferior mean??

  • @anklebreaka03 I forgot that this video is accounts for every muay thai fighter on the face of the planet..wait what?

Boxing and Muay Thai are different sports. The key word is different, which means not the same as. I boxed for 4 years and I am just getting into Muay Thai and I can tell you that in a ring with Western Boxing rules the boxer would most likely win but switch the rules to Muay Thai and the boxer will be sent home in a box every time.

    DIFFERENT SPORTS

  • @Eatmybologna Iunno why u guys are all snapping on me i just said traditional Muay Thai has terrible boxing, its a FACT! u guys are acting like im disrespecting Muay Thai or something. I've been training in muay thai for several years and compete so im not anyone to just throw out statements like that. I do Muay Thai, but i wanna be a great striker so I also have a boxing coach. Muay thais boxing will get you nowhere with your hands but everything else it definately will. Check out my video.

  • @Eatmybologna And don't get me wrong a Muay Thai fighter will destroy a boxer in a fight....that's not even a question obviously. The only time a boxer would win is under boxing rules

  • LOL the fat guy that passes by...

  • @josehernandez16 i jus seen that and was gunna say that myself ... hahaha

  • The dude who walked by was FAT!

  • hahahahaha yeah he waz!

  • It caught me off guard.

  • it waz pretty random

  • yeah its funny how he stands in the backround later in the clip. just moving his arms a little. then walk away again.

  • fat people can have some strong ass kicks

i sometimes train with this fat guy and his kicks are beast

  • I know. Their calves do a lot of work, considering that they have to carry themselves everyday.

And the big guys who actually do training, they are vicious.

  • plus they throw their whole body wieght into the kick

which can be alot of wieght

  • Lol, so when some of the scientists say "800 lbs of force", I am sure a properly trained, large guy can easily double the output.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah dude, I trained with this "fat guy" for 2 years, his kicks were F'n crazy, then he lost 100 pounds, now hes ripped, his kicks are 10x stronger.

  • Yea, but they are usually slow and easily checked.

  • well, what' is fast ?

  • I'm talking about a fat guys "hard" kicks. Just saying, they tend to need a lot more time to load up that kick to get all of that extra mass (which is where the "power" comes from) moving. This time, gives more opportunity for defense, whether that is to check, counter, or just get out of the way.

  • Of course he is taking it slow and easy, this is his warm up...

  • how come he wasn't doing any tiger shots? guys spam that move all the time.

  • azns are truly king of the ring.

  • race doesn't matter, jackass.

and yes, this is coming straight out of an azn

  • The black dog is cool!

  • I watched till 1:35, and to be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the video. He's kind of slow, and it doesn't look like he's using a lot of power. He's also not using a lot of combinations. I'm not saying I'm any better than this guy, I'm just comparing this video to the other Muay Thai videos that I've seen here on YouTube.

P.S. Guys, if you know a thing or two about kickboxing, please give me (and others) some help on different aspects of it at KickboxersCommunityDotBlogspotDotCom. Thanks!

  • just practice

  • well i know that when you say training that you'll work your hardest, but i see him just working on his punches and some push kicks. well i've been doing muay thai too and every three rounds i work on different combinations.

  • I think he's just warming up dude.

  • "muay thai training sityodtong "Nee" warming up."

    The description says it all.

  • his kick is deadly, you would never get near him in a street fight, and if you did his 'right' will drop you

  • minchia che panza che ha quello al 0:34 !!

  • WMC camp?:]\

  • Just train hard and never give up!

  • First of all... good job on getting as far as you have! Muay Thai conditioning is very difficult. Keep training hard and find a good Muay Thai instructor. A good instructor will push you past your current limits. If you work hard and have a good attitude, you can be good at Muay Thai.

  • w1ngshung ! You speak the truth....

I do private lessons, on my second lesson I went home to sleep and was so f**ked my dad had to literally smash my bedroom door down because I couldnt hear him shouting at me lol I use to go lessons on a Saturday morning and anyone that saw me that day would say I look bloody terrible lol.

  • Last year I was training in Bangkok or 2 weeks on my vacation. They usually have no air-con and under 35C...I quickly lost 6 lbs!!

  • lmao

  • lol theres 100 comments on wat th hel th fat lads doin at th bak...wel heres 101...wat the hel is tht fat guy doing at th bak

  • wth is that fat guy doing lmao

  • Hes doing a bad job of keeping his hands up. You can hold weights and keep your arms up or do little jabs focusing on form to strengthen your arms and shoulders. Your fists feel like little feathers afterword, and so it should be easier to keep your arms up in a fight or during sparring or els you will hear this. (Keep your hands up!!!!) ( Youll see white if you dont listen )

  • whats a good weightto start with?

  • Well training with gloves I jumped to the 14 oz ones just because majority everyone is taller than me, the norm is 8oz to 12 oz gloves. But for strength training 5 pounds is good enough for this. Focus on form and work yourself to failure and there ya go. Shoulder muscles for most people start off small dont over do it with the weights or you might tear something.

  • Thx for the help!

i hopei dont tear something and end up fighting like the fat man. :)

  • assuming you are talking about glove size

they heavier u go the better, because it teaches you to hold your hands up for blocking, when you take the gloves of itll be easy to keep your guard up

  • shut up noob

  • screw u

  • he knows what he's doing! Lets assume the thai's know how to fight. If he drops his arms it's because he can. He's in no danger at that moment. If his trainer thought he was in danger, he would hit him or kick him to exploit the weakness.

  • Looking for a fridge.

  • the fat guy just wants sone spotlight, that why he is going in front of the camera and foulling around

  • he needs to kick alot more

  • gotta laugh at the fatty in the background.. what the hell is he doing??? nothing getting fatter!

  • ahh give him some slack, he'll trim down. gotta love the way he just walks in confused as to why there is taping going on.

  • i think the fatty is just there trying to get his dog back thats also walking around lol.

  • Actually I think he just ate 2 of the fighters and trying to walk it off.

  • LOL!

  • The fat guy is my favorite.....

  • its dislcates !! and i will do operation to fix it.. and i will be ready for hard training :D and hopefull ill start if im not so much busy :D Because need to study aswell :D

  • Why does the "blocker" keep turning around? It seems really annoying for the boxer..

  • they turn around so it gives him and the boxer some rest time between the combinations.

  • i wan do mui tai .. but i cant now i have problem wid my shoulder i use to do tak won do.. Im 17 i know its late but... its better late then never ... :D so ill try to fix my shoulder and im gona start .. :D and i recon u are 15 know and u beetter start because after few years u gona be like ohhh why i didnt go mui tai ..it will help u in a future ...:D :D:D if ill be you i will go

  • whats wrong with yoru shoulders?

  • i like the fat guy hes like oh there is a camera i better go show my physique off n yeah i got on some muay thai shorts im a fighter .....ya fat cunt go home

  • depends on where you train i guess but there is definately grading with colours as rankings

  • there are no belts in muay thai. what the trainer is wearing is a kickin pad..the only belts muay thai has is championship belts

  • i started at age 24 and am now 25 orange belt and absolutely loving it. never to last to join

  • ?? there's belts in muay thai?? never knew that
