Goldeb Glubb winner!" and it won 11 oscars he is the best dirictior i watch lord of the rings return of the king 700 times i know every word they say well done peterjackson
tolkien has said that mordor and orchs represent the industrial world destroying the beuty of the natural world. it has nothing to do with threat from the east. he talks about it alot that men are greedy corrupt.
It doesn't matter that he's not making the hobbit, he's writing and producing it, so he's gonna have alot of say in what happens. plus guillemo del toro is an amazing director, he can do it justice. (check out pan's labrith!)
Great comment. What I like about both directors is that they are both realists particularly when it comes to fantasy, they give it consequence. Rather than clapping two red shoes together and being home.
have you seen his older movies such as brain dead? check it out if you haven't seen it. you'll be surprised to that film compared to the lord of the rings trilogy
greatest director, producer and story teller of all time! he's definatly my biggest inspiration in life. and he's inspiered me to become a director myself.
yeah hope he makes the hobbit by him self cause if he dose im not gan awtah cit cause peter is the bomb ill only watch the hobbit if he makes the movie
I'm wondering if Peter Jackson will still make a video about himself making the Hobbit. If the film will still be just as good. I hope so. Is Del Toro, the Director of Pan's Labyrinth, just as good of a director as Peter Jackson to make a series prequel to The Lord of the Rings even if Peter Jackson is going to be an executive producer. If he's back does that mean that the company of WETA and Peter Jackson's original crew Like Richard Taylor, and Alan Lee will also be back?
Pete repeats himself from his last Chalie Rose interview, but I guess that's partly Charlie's fault since he brought up a lot of the same topics as the last one.
Peter did an amazing job, and I know he will produce an amazing version of "The Hobbit". I thought King Kong was about 30 minutes too long, but the effects were incredible as well as the acting.

great interview
except that Charlie Rose said that there's no female characters in the Rings Trilogy.
There's several, the only one who was really altered was Arwen.

If anyone out there hasn't seen Bad Taste by Peter Jackson, then I suggest you do. It's his first film and probably his best.
