  • he is the best i have ever seen...

  • did any1 else see dougie, family guy, or smosh in this vids tags?

  • pq sera q todos esses professores da internet parecem charlatões?

  • nice choreography

  • @PPQ9GUNNER It's not choreographed. Moron.

  • Awesome, I have a lot of training to do, but I will become better :) btw it's YIP man not IP man people lol

  • Nice. Effective.

  • What I learnt. Never mess with a guy who can defeat 100 attackers one after the other, and still find time to change tracksuits in between.

  • @lozinja lol nice

  • I could watch this all day!

  • Sucks to be that guy in black clothes.

  • Master Wong is sparring with an instructor?

  • I don't go nowhere

  • hmmm...Is this type of fight better for short or taller guys? I now have the opportunity of learning either BJJ or Wing Chun. I´ve never learned either of those but I am eager to start my classes, but i cant make up my mind! Which is better for 1,70 m guys, BJJ or Wing Chun?

  • @RodrigoWR1992

Wing chun since you hardly wanna grapple on the streets. Plus wing chun has some pretty good anti grapling techniques once you progress to the advanced levels.

Just be sure to find a good teacher and remember than when you want to spar with your friends using wing chun, don't hold back. The style is not meant for holding back.

  • @RodrigoWR1992 wc is better for anyone, thats written in its history.bjj is also good for street fighting, but i prefer wc.good luck

  • @RodrigoWR1992 Both Styles are amazing. I studied BJJ for 2 years, But I was always lucky to be somehow talented in grappling. I beat the "Gym Champ" in my first lesson. TO ME! BJJ requires less time to get an understanding of. Now I practice Wing Chun, which is harder to learn but when I see what my choach can do with little effort and remain humble (Unlike the BJJ players I used to roll with) I want to learn more. I'd say, maybe do BJJ for some time and then Focus on WC. Both are amazing.

  • The idea is to learn all you can no matter what martial art it is and make it your own. I think Bruce Lee said it best when he said "Martial arts means to honestly express yourself".

  • four words. better than bruce lee.

  • @kohanjin three words, i hope so :)

  • @kohanjin hahaha you talking shit... >.< no one is better then bruce lee was and there are a few people better than master wong.

  • das ist geil

  • MASTER WONG YOU A TRULY A MASTER I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN FROM YOU WHEN I WAS 15 I LEARNED WINGCHUN FROM SIFU MICHIAL MILITANO IN BROOKLYN BUT KNOW IM IN ANOTHER COUNTRY ANDNO WINGCHUN .I LOVE WINGCHUN AND I MISS IT I WANT TO LEARN MORE

  • IP Man, IP Chun and Bruce Lee best ever! But Master Wong does Amazing work! From Bruce Lee the main technique was wing chun .. But he made up his own art and he learned almost all techniques .. and then he gave his own technique a name! !Jeet Kune Do!

  • great work! thumbs up!

  • this man is a joke compared to IP man

  • @pepehiligko

oh u mustve seen videos of yip man kickin ass with real power?

whatever, wong would make yip proud for sure

  • JKD is whatever works, this is mythotical

  • @Leaklips : this is wingchun fight form

  • JKD ? I have never see bruce lee doing it .

  • thiz dewd iz wing chun and jkd.. he makes dvds lulz

  • this is not wing chun , it look like JKD...

  • @mauro1990ish Agreed... many kicks are above the waist and his center changes on the kicks. He rotates on punches and kicks without legs following forward (so his waist and body line goes diagonal) which is a little more western style. He doesn't rely on chain punching as much. It appears more like a mixture of fighting styles similar to JKD, but the stance/footwork is different. Regardless of that, he seems very effective in his style and it does have many movements of Wing Chun in it.

  • @dashen : you stupid , wing chun have many branch and various form , this is his form , my wing chun is got a grapple move

  • Like this :X

  • HAmmer

  • why is that guy wearing the ipman costume.

  • @TheClone333 well ipman was a very famous wing chun practitioner. maybe thats a wing chun uniform? i don't know.

  • @TheClone333 Chinese People normally use it

  • This is all nice to see on video. Fighting in real life is a whole other chapter. Try that shit with someone who is trained as a boxer. Not going to work. Old master i knew said, worst thing you can meet in a street fight is a boxer and its true. No matter how you kick or parry, one punch and your knocked. Thats it. Be realistic. Good training for the body but it wont help you.

  • @KonChul did u listen to bruce lee? it depends on the individual not the style, there is no superior style

  • @cripplerG Ok, then you take video camera and go challenge a boxer and post it.

  • @KonChul haha i already did but i dont have a camera and i actually won thanks to Master Wong's wing chun system, if you have a problem then go to one of master wong's student and fight them and see what happens

  • @KonChul-->I think this is not complete, in most cases it would be the main line. But that's not how i see it ... at the time of the Gracie family, most realized that the practicialler style did do the job what was unexpected. At this time most "freefight" had to addapt. alsoo one's style can be perfect for one individual but less for another.(who is build best for what style, if you put them to getter ...)

  • Or certain styles to defeat another (simplified as like you look on a movent and his counterstrike in its own style for example, there are superior movements ...)

i think in all the important things bruce said, is what would lead to that, the abillity to addapt !!!

  • combination of styles will always be better i am sure and no style being superior has great meaning in thrut as well as for individuals. but you never now in advance or maybe more important, I try to believe that knowing one's style as well training as on "a (single) superior style personalised" simple as "the opposite" can mean victory in contrairy to train a variaty of all kinds of styles on high level even accompagnied with lots of experience

  • could mean defeat to that one style and maybe less to the individual => like the Gracie story for example ...

i think the unexpected (style) will be in a lot of cases the superior one, a part from the individual !!! as long as you don't or can't addapt, defeat will return, where otherwise you sure would have won (speaking about an indivual)

  • (or even better, forget about any style and just "try" to kill the guy (forget "style" , "mind focus" on what comes on not on what you have learned ...) => look also at capoeristas and there meia luas (lots of knock outs, yet not so difficult to intercept)

but as i said, i do agree on the main line !

  • (ps: make one your own, one that fits you best, just like bruce did (although this has not to be that litterally)

  • wing chun is not a art

  • wonderful

  • lol this is a true master not like i see karate guys who jump and in real fight like little boys with no right movment

  • One serious question. Who is HIS teacher?

  • In Wing chun , you need to be agressive not a softie or you will be ass kicked.

  • @gaseist are you... STUPID?

  • @pingskillz Yes he is.

  • @pingskillz everyone is stupid.

  • I think the reason Master Wong has so many different sparring partners in a lot of his videos is because some of them die. It would be an honor to be kicked by Master Wong.

  • great

  • Greetings i like this training , thank you .

  • master wong is very aggressive

  • Master Wong is really receiving and giving real hits, the only thing is that his opponents has "guards".

  • put him in movies i like it

  • Master Wong did you learn the original Wing Chun or modified?

  • i like how you apply your Wing Chun ...Not like anything I've seen before...and the attacker is also awesome...some of them giving good defence and counter attack...maybe next time around we could see how Wing chun against wing chun attack...that would be awesome...

  • this is awesome...realy nice to see in movies...but hard to apply it in real combat. i'm not a critic, i'm sure there are people who can do it easely. i'm just sayin from own experience that there are way more easyer ways to defende. and like many, i'd love to learn wing chun. i do boxing, kickboxing and muay thai so you probably get what im sayin :P

  • @pararata yup.. basically if you dont rigorously train your sensitivity in wing chun you cant attack/counter/answer structured, fast, harmoniously, and effective.nor do you have the alignment so your slapping at your opponent like an idot... lol. great vid.

  • Is this on the DVDs you sell Master Wong?

  • HMMPH HMMPH HMMPH HMMPH HMMMPH HUAHH!

  • Master wong I have a question, did you learn the modified version of wing chun or the original

  • It is interesting channel master wong, I invite you to view all my videos, greetings coordial

  • Only a faster, stronger, more precisely (pressure points) guy would win. "go...find one"

  • sergio iadarola wing chun sistem is alwo killer

  • some people are saying about master wongs technique, i used to belong to his academy, he knows what hes on about if you ever saw him doing his stuff then i'm pretty sure your mouths would be shut

  • how they students alive his training lesson

  • @feerrrrghjkio - not "alive" lol its "survive"

  • go and cry baby

  • huh =S

  • Padding.

Despite of this, it is still tough to film it all. Maybe not a lot of cuts (as in cuts in tape), but quite a conditioning workout.

  • it is just a demonstration besides I am sure Master Wong would school you so I dont know who you are to critique him

  • I would like to have him as my master, at last for a while. Would be grateful to learn from someone that knows Wing Chun in this way.

  • I'm not sure why Master Wong blocks the kicks that would miss him? Why not allow the opponent to over-extend? This would provide greater amounts of time and opportunity to strike back!!!

  • When the other is gonna miss, If you block him, hiting hard, he will feel very pain without doing much.

Also, as you can see, after he blocks, he starts with his "combo", in that way his blocks are the first combo step, then, he does damage and at same time he drives his opponent body to where he wants.

  • This master modify the wing chun ... and transform it in another thing ... also all his demostration is rare ... he is no wather he is a piece of wood ...

  • That guy just doesnt get it... He cant beat master wong!! give up man!!

  • impressive Master he gots the flow and the power hits

  • As master Bruce lee once said, to be like water-become water!!

  • Silk reeling... the ugly way. :)

  • He is very good just need's to stop using elbow and knee until its time to use it.

  • of course it wouldnt look so clean all the time but it needs to be clean to show you easily but these movements are not complex, their very easy if you take the time to practice them

  • well said

  • @yulaw3 yeh, most ppl think "wing chun... thats too hard" but if u spend 1 week learning only 1 technique you'll be able to use it sometimes

  • thats true.all about drilling i guess.i only took up wing chun recently=) its good

  • i wound hate to fight either of the them, one knows how to punch and the other knows how to take a punch lol. is he wearing pads?

  • ROFL, his poor students

  • nice video

  • too many set positions. be like water!!!

  • cool video and good explaying.

  • The Master is showing you how it works bitches.

  • omg Master Wong is AWESOME...I practice wing chun..this is pretty INSANE /\_/\

  • nice!

  • perfect moves...

  • ... cool ,,,i wonder is any of this wing chun gonna work when come to the real fight?

  • @xcoler Well, most people have no idea how to fight, therefore I'm quite sure that this martial art will beat the shit out of them.

  • JKD?

  • You wanna know why Wongs wing chun works? because its not wing chun

  • what is it? and why doesn't wing chun work?

  • Actually it is wing chun without the flat foot stance.

  • anyone notice how they constantly replace the helpers? its because master wong keeps sending them to the hospital in each take.

  • WOW! Very impressive!! What is Master Wong's height?

  • The most prevalent styles in MMA are boxing, karate, kickboxing, and muay thai for stand up, and judo, wrestling, greco-roman, and bjj for ground fighting. Its not only muay thai. I do wish that there was more chinese MA in western MMA, especially UFC.

  • If you guys are talking "Wing Chun vs MMA", aren't you really just talking Wing Chun vs Muy Thai? I thought MMA was basically Muy Thai and/or the like for the striking and BJJ for the grappling. I am only judging from a video and wouldn't presume to know Wing Chun's effectiveness since I don't train it but what Master Wong is doing here seems way more versatile and speedier than anything I have ever noticed watching a UFC match.

  • mixed martial arts originated in the shoalin temple...from there people went and developed styles that worked for them....all styles are essentially mixed martial arts. they all are suppose to incorporate the four ranges of fighting...kicking striking takedowns groundwork...if they dont then you are studying an incomplete style.all styles work...if you hand a car to a blind person something tells me you will get an accident...get my drift.

  • Yeah I understand your point Alexander but most people aren't thinking about martial arts history when they say/hear MMA... and correct me if I am wrong but I seriously doubt they were thinking of sports combat at the Shoalin temple. Sorry, I didn't exactly get your drift. Hand a car to a blind person?

  • And there is no room to argue really... You cant stop evolution. But I will say, I feel there are better Martial Arts. If you master wrestling and that's it. You'll find yourself in trouble. But I cant say there is a BEST Martial Arts tho. As long as you incorporate ground and stand up, weapon and no weapon techniques. You become complete THEN it comes down to who's the better fighter.

  • Such a beast rofl.

  • I was thinking the same, lets see this in a cage fight where they know Mui Thai and Jui Jitsui both.... will be interesting.

  • You want an MMA fight Master Wong? I would pick u hands down let me know if u wanna get in the Cage..u rock!!

  • I would luv to see u fight an MMA I would bet on u if u wanna fight I know someone who has MMA connections holla @ Me

  • can you imagine if this guy was going for the head. ouch.

  • no buddy...thats because you got all rules to follow...but in a real situation , kill or get killed , no rules apply I think he would take him with no problem.

  • 3453 Hit Combo

    Master Wong Wins

  • @69elchupacabra69 Flawless Victory. Fatality.

  • no tiene otro ayudante? xD que le gusta que le peguen al culiao xD

  • who did this guy learn from? what is his lineage?

  • dang this guy is killer lol

  • We could prolly talk for days from our experiences. Different experiences call for different opinions. But what I can say is, many styles will work in real life. Not just wing chun, JKD, or even MMA. Any one or more styles that include stand up, ground game, weapon defense+offense... You should be good. We can all agree on that.

  • of course it would work if you're attacked but with every fighting style you need to be good and have practice fighting other people.

  • This is coming from an Ex-Marine. Were defending our COUNTRY with MMA as our base. Of course, in cooperating deadly techniques not allowd in MMA. But any fighter would kno it's NOT that hard frm Jabbing ppl's jaws in COMPETITION 2 aiming 2 their Throats instead. A BOXER can be deadly simple doing that. So dont give me that bias BS. Every martial art is deadly and are good. But no ONE art is da best. MMA is OVERALL the best... but even so, to the death, it comes down to speed for any art 2 win.

  • would it really work if being attacked ?

  • Depends on whos attackin. On da average man, yes, minus da flyin away after a hit. But an MMA fighter like myself, youre gonna have 2 work around jabs, legkicks, and takedowns. Then U have 2 have a ground game. U also cant leave ur hand out ther like he does. He kind of posses after a punch or just starts with his hand held low. Which in most martial arts, its common. Thats an invitation 4 a jab, leadcross, headkick. U gotta always assume ur opponent is faster then U. until feel him out @ least.

  • well yea but, it all depends on the martial artist. the poses have a meaning. if the attacker comes back, the attacker will take the pose as an advantage, that's what the defender wants so that he can quickly maneuver into his/her opponent.

  • i dont agree with you :P

if there arent any rules and you dont have any protection on (gloves etc) a fighter like master wong is only beatable by an even better wing chun or jeet kune do practioner

  • I was trying to be very respectful to diff arts being that I know a lot about martial arts. But you and angel are pretty bias therefore i'm gonna have to be real. wing chun.jeet kune do is far from unbeatable. What the heck do you think jeet kune do is? It's basically a lower version of MMA. Taking in what works and eliminating what DOESN'T. C'mon ppl. If it was SO unbeatable, why isn't it used to dominate MMA? I know what you would say... "in real life" blah blah. MMA would be deadlier too then

  • well i still dont agree :P as i said, without rules and protection wing chun is extremely deadly. if you start training wing chun youll se how difficult it is to use if you put gloves on and make some rules. therefore it doesnt beat mma in competitions.

  • Everyone has a harder time training with gloves. Take them off an MMA guy, then his grip is better, he's faster both off and def. I mean, he has a lot that'll work 4sure. But I see a lot that wont. Example: he knees and the guy goes down. Frm that position, an MMA guy would be rdy to takedown very easily. His front kicks ending a combo will not send any1 flying. The guy would be right there, he'd hit him after his kick while he has his hands held low. Wing Chun is above average art but not best

  • what master wong shows here isnt EVERYTHING he can do. this is from a training dvd and doesnt show all he can do.

+ master wong knows other fighting styles than wing chun but when he fights the most of his moves are from wing chun.

Also fedor who all the MMA fighters say "omg omg hes so good" said that he wouldnt even fight bruce lee if he could.

Remember i dont say mma fighters are bad i just say im very very sure they will get beated by a fighter like master wong

  • I know that isnt everything he can do. And Bruce Lee, mad respect to him. Have all his movies. He was the king of his time... HIS TIME. What makes Bruce lee dangerous isnt his style (in a kill or be killed fight). It's his speed and physical attributes. Kick to the groin with lighting fast. He could have been any martial art with that. In one movie, he was caught in an arm bar. He bit him to get out, which tells me his ground game is limited. There's so many variables to a fight...

  • Sure, just gotta say that bruce lee was was able to defeat master wong shun leung in combat :) = leung: king :P imo

  • correction bruce is all about staying ahead of the competition. So if bruce was allowed to develop his craft he would be ahead of the game. :)

  • Of course he would, he was already the best at his time. Like babe ruth was at his. Or Sugar Ray Robinson. But the standards or bar is set higher and higher for every generation. What did 135 IBS Bruce Lee bench? 250? I was 140 benching 260 right after high school and i didn't get that much recognition for it. 30 years from now, GSP's level would prolly be the bare minimum and shit. LoL.

  • actually don't be surprised if you're stronger than bruce. Bruce wasn't all about lifting strength but punching power and speed. who's GSP?

  • Oh no, that's not what I was trying to say. The standard for everything from speed, punching power, technique, stand up, ground game... just every aspect of fighting, sports, general knowledge... Anything you can think of, the standard is set sooo much higher as the years go by. Even in video games... The best of the best 30 years ago would have been average today. Royce gracie destroyed every martial art at his time. He came back and was destroyed himself. That's 1 example as well.

  • I know sucks for those that have their records broken.

  • So, you trying to say, more the time pass, better fighters we will get? Not agree.

In fact , i don't think any of MMA could beat any "old real warrior", only because they really spent their whole time in the war, and in training, just like Bruce did. MMA fighters train, yes but they arent really special, their moviments are simple, u can learn Muay Thai in two months, the experience is what makes the warrior. Also as you know, there's no better artial mart, just better fighter.

  • No, not what I meant. I am talking about evolution. Let's take the military for example (becuz I was a marine). If my Marines last year fought against Marines in WW2, we would win. Why? Becuz the standard is set much higher. We are stronger, faster, bigger, rifle qualifications are harder. Same goes for any sport. Even video games. If a kid in china is training right now, he's going to have much more advanced technology and techniques to work with ON TOP of what Bruce lee did. THATs what I mean

  • Right... Only Jeet Kune Do or Wing Chun are effective martial arts.. I'd like to see this guy fight Fedor or Anderson Silva.

  • very good fighting choreographys!

  • sweet....very fluid dynamic showing of wing chun combat scenes

  • not bad

  • that guys know what they doing very good!!!

  • that man kicks so much ass. mad respect to Master Wong.

  • this is cooL!

  • wing tsun is great!it s very simple and strong!!!I practise wing tsun for one year in Brindisi(italy)!sorry for my english!i m italian boy!congratulation master wong

  • I want to thank Master Wong for allowing the public to receive these free lessons! Definitely looking forward to getting his DVD!

  • U get what u pay for..
