I have been making my son now 18, aware of this for years now, it is best to introduce this form of reasoning early in the kids life, so it becomes 2nd nature to check out information from a number of differing sources & angles, they pretty soon get a feel for it, and reason combined with experience & common sense does get the upper hand "EVENTUALLY" But yes, teach this early on in the curriculum...
