Great movie, made MUCH better by Hatchet 2 (Hatchet 1 doesnt end, Hatchet 2 completes it). I imagine the people that didnt like this didnt like the way the first wrapped up or simply wasnt around for the horror movies of the 80s this paid tribute too.

If you DO love those slasher flicks of the 80s though, Id also recommend Behind The Mask. Its a brilliant blend of slasher/comedy and is a must watch at least once.
