hi guys whats with all the vitrol???
To me this is the best vid on u tube. this guy can sing better but hes just followin the melody which just makes his voice all the better and sincere. p.s guitar playins got his own distinctive funk about it.
pps. type in as i roved out as per the 19/10/07 and there is fook all so ya'a havent got much to be moanin about.
whoever here is saying that david kitt cant sing, should stick to watching videos and playing computer games, because ye clearly dont know a thing about music.
David, I hate to break the bad news to you but you can't sing very well. If you're going to put yourself out there for all to hear and see you better be very good and I'm sorry to say your're not. Your guitar playing is okay though.
Do you know, I do feel bad about being so negative in my previous posting and I apologise. I've never heard of Dave Kitt. He's probably a really talented guy but he does wander about in his tuning when he sings this. Is this how he sings all the time?
Good man Kittser, brilliant performance, sings a lot better than Andy Irvine does now anyway, his voice has gone to hell. Any Planxty fans should check out the No Disco RTE documentary of Planxty, it is excellent (this clip comes from it)
good man yourself Mr. Kitt keep on hurlin, but as I said before to you, you need to be singin more song's about sheep stealin and people being hung for to being a witch to really get to the heart of what good Irish song writnig was all about but you are, as with your own stuff, heading in the right direction so keep on pullin on the ground ball and take the points and the goals will come, Is mise le Meas.

Such a great song, itd be great to get a version without David speaking over it.
