man oh man, so many countless hours and quarters dumped into this game back in my day. i remember this being at every arcade, and at Chucky Cheese... Sometimes there would be lines with more than 15 people in it waiting to play. it was always the best playing with 3 other people. but this game was fucking hard from what i can remember being younger. As well as the Ninja Turtles arcade game, THAT game took my life savings lol. Good vids man, thanks for uploading the memories :)

For this boss jump kick / body slam works best. Just make sure you jump again to the opposite end of the screen (UP or Down) so you don't get crushed.

As to why this game was never released for the home consoles, I'm guessing because Acclaim had the license and used it to pump out craptastic game after craptastic game...what a waste.

You ever notice the fact that no one ever really uses the team attacks you can perform with others despite the fact that they're in the game? I mean minus the people who play with more than one player on MAME, I mean when i usually go to the arcade and others played with Me no one really bothered with using the team attacks everyone would nplay as if there were no team attacks, even when I played with My Dad and sisters we just ignored them, I wonder why no one outside of MAME uses team attacks.

I really don't see why they don't. Same goes for Turtles in Time. It would be an easy way for Microsoft and Konami to make some money too seeing as how many people downloaded the 1989 Turtles arcade game.

For the 2nd boss, what I like do to is jump behind the balloon, wait for it to come close enough to my y-axis, and hit it with the 2-button move, then when it bounces back I jump outta the way. It ends the fight very quickly.

I've tried that, but I often ended up missing and the damn boss would hit me anyway. Standard attacks are faster and don't leave you as open as a super move would.

I just have bad luck, I bet.

The Bear that got out of the cage is the same Bear you fight later in the game and when playing this game back in the days the stages seemed pretty long now looking back and watching you play though the stages they quite short and easy to beat

You had to get the 2 characters to face each other for a certain amount of time. Then they would automatically join together and you and/or your partner could control them. Each team up was deifferent depending on the characters.
