Very helpful, I have been stressing out not knowing exactly what to do. i,m using 1/2 lb Mohair for masks and it,s almost white roving with longer strands approx 6'' . I will be using Jacquard acid dye. I want it to be a golden brown so I bought brown and aztec gold and assume I can mix them. I read u have to use aluminum pots is this true? Thanks for the video and I hope to get this hair dyed soon lol
I. LOVE. THIS! And I literally laughed out loud when you were talking about the fact it's not just because you have ADHD! This is exactly how I work on other projects!
@128waseca HI, I use Prochem chemical dyes. I have heard from others in the biz that Chocolate Brown often fractures. Someone told me yesterday to put calgon in the fleece before dyeing it. I haven't tried that, maybe it is an April Fools joke and they just want to see how gulliible I am (LOL).
This is exactly how I work too! Whether with arts and crafts or when cooking. It's nice to see someone explaining how to do something in a way that's 'real' to me. Thanks!
