Sega Rally Revo is an awesome game. Only thing remotely bad about it is the underwhelming soundtrack. Luckily, I play the PC version so have itunes playing so it's The Vines, Manic Street Preachers, Cast and Supergrass all the way.

That is actually wrong. Dreamcast version uses Windows CE engine for portability and network (japan only) not its native engine. Spec wise Dreamcast is superiour to Model 3 due to its crisp and rendering quality. Game like VOOT shows it can replicate Model 3 Version without problem (not pixel perfect because of different architectures and rendering method - PowerVR2DC is tiled-based).
@airraideagle Dreamcast is wastly superior than any nineties Arcade -machine, but it is SO shame they rushed their best games out for Dreamcast before they knew how to program for it. This game and VF3TB are good examples. Thankfully they did Daytona right. But Sega Rally 2... -Fog, and still plenty of pop -up and framerate problems. N64 could run Dreamcast -version of Sega Rally 2 perfectly:)
i have this game however my dreamcast broken tho the hardware kinda wears out after years. but still plays when it can... p.s congratz on placing 1st on the 1st year.

Sega Rally 1 and 2 were BRILLIANT. :D. Even the newer Sega Rally game for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is quite good too. :)

Sega Rally 2 arcade was so much better than the Dreamcast version.
The PowerVR2C graphics chip in Dreamcast was no match for the two Real3D/Pro-1000 GPUs in the Model 3 board.

exactly. it doesnt matter if it cant keep up with the graphics anymore (although Shenmue is still a match for anything iv seen!)
